Rock the House Poolside Basketball Hoop with Powder Coated Hoop, Stainless Steel Hardware, and 2 Basketballs - In Ground or Above Ground Pool Basketball Hoop

We live in FL in the water so have been hesitant about getting one of these.. just got this for Christmas so time will tell regarding any rusting but so far.....My 15 year son put it together with my other son so it isn’t that hard to put together. People complained in reviews about the ball it came with not being good so I purchased two other balls, also. So far, they have only played with the ball it has come with. They said there is nothing wrong with it! Oh well... so far it has been sturdy as they have been slam dunking on it like crazy - at least half a dozen teens. It just sits there like a rock. It is very basic looking - no frills but I would rather have that than stickers peeling off and all the other issues. Just give the kids a post, net and ball and that’s what this is. It’s perfect so far. Well worth the money!!

This is the second time I have ordered this product. The first one lasted for 12 years. This one lasted only a few days before the net shredded. I don't understand why such a good quality product has a net made out of tissue paper? It makes no sense to me? I hope the manufacturer will send me a replacement net that is higher quality.

We've had this hoop for a couple of weeks now and love it. I highly recommend. We are using this hoop on our deck with an above ground pool. It's very durable and the backboard is big enough so that most "misses" end up back in the pool. I love that it comes with two balls that are basketball material and not an inflatable. We are very happy with this purchase.

Holes don’t line up with bolts and it’s a pita to assemble. No Allen key provided so unless you have a 1/2 in laying around you need to go get one. Poor construction/plastic molding.

I live in Florida so the humidity and rust can be an issue. I purchased this to replace a different companies model that had more metal on it that was causing a rust issue by the pool. This model has much less metal which has been a huge plus in terms of it breaking down. Was very easy to assemble (and I am not that handy). So far really like it!

The rim began to rust after 6 months and then the rust ran down and stained the base. The description says rust proof. I wrote to the company and have yet to get a response. Otherwise the unit is great. The basketballs are not great so i picked up a couple at Walmart for $4.99

Hours of fun for the entire family. We have definitely gotten our money’s worth out of this hoop. Great product at a good price! Highly recommend.

Very happy with base and basketball hoop. Quality construction and fairly easily assembled with 2 people. Kids enjoyed it immediately. The ball provided is garbage. Lines were drawn on with marker. (Poorly) but we have plenty of other balls to use so don't let it shy you away from purchase.
