Don't know gauge tho. I didn't use it for the purpose intended. I used it for small magnetic boards which worked great even covered with fabric. The edges and corners are very sharp and I used a heavy duty corner rounder to round off corners. I bought 100 sheets and it weighed 12 lbs. contents broke the shipping box but product was not damaged or lost. I will be using it for craft related projects. Hope this helps. **Q: is there a UPS code printed on sheets? Do not want** A: sorry for delay....I will check when I get home. I believe there is a sticker and it can be removed with goo gone. **Q: Would these be easy for children to punch holes in using a nail and a hammer?** A: I just tried it. I put the flashing on top of a piece of a corrugated cardboard and then put everything on top of an old phone book. It works. I guess it depends how old the kids are. The edges are a little sharp and the corners are even sharper. For my project I used a Zutter corner rounder to clip the corners, smoothed them with a metal file and covered all the edges with foil tape.
