Brilliant piano
I'm a beginner at piano and learning to read music, and I'm very very happy with this purchase. I don't regret going for the FP-30x, though I must admit the main reason for choosing it over the FP10 was the ability to upgrade to 3 pedals in the future, and if I'm honest, I now realise I am unlikely to need the other two pedals for a very long time, if at all. Other than the pedal upgrade ability, the FP30x does have some extra voices, but if your purpose is to learn piano, then these extras are not particularly necessary, and you are more than likely to be perfectly happy with the FP10 as a first, and possibly only keyboard you might ever need. Anyway, the FP30x is everything I could want, with a great grand piano sound and feel - at least that is what I've read, I have not played a real grand piano myself - but to me it sounds and feels perfect.

A great acquisition
I have been toying with whether to buy a good electric piano for some time now and I’m very pleased that I chose this Roland FP 30 X. I had been looking at some of the cheaper options including the Yamaha P145 and the Roland FP 10. This piano sits well on the Roland stand which I bought at the same time and sounds very realistic. It has a number of different sounds, a metronome, as well as a number of other functions plus volume control. I’ve come back to the piano after a number of years of absence and find this electric piano a neat addition to my room and so similar to a real piano that I have no qualms about its purchase. Since I bought it I’ve been playing daily 15 minutes per time and numerous times per day it has changed my life for the better.

Rich sound and realistic feel. Great long-term digital piano
I bought this as an upgrade from a Yamaha P45, as I wanted something that would give me a bit more room to grow. I’m not an expert pianist, but the difference is noticeable. The sound is much richer, and the key action feels more realistic and satisfying to play - much closer to an acoustic piano than my previous keyboard. It feels like a solid, good-quality instrument and something I won’t outgrow, which is exactly what I was looking for. Full disclosure: since getting a puppy, I haven’t had as much time to play as I’d like—but when I have used it, it’s been a pleasure. Overall: a great step up from entry-level keyboards, especially if you’re looking for something that will last as your playing improves.

lovely piano
So far piano been great... sound, buil quality, playing on it is all super. For the money you get a lot... free piano learning voucher too so if you're beginner and keen to get started it all helps. Having brought cheaper piano before might as well spend a little more so you don't have to upgrade later. Not too heavy either and the Bluetooth app works great too.

Good Piano for Beginners/Intermediate play
I have this piano for 10 months now. This piano is very heavy. Apart from that, it got amazing weighted keys and the sound quality is briliant. The speakers are not as good but should improve with piano amplifier. It blends well with VST too. It is suitable for beginners and intermediate play. But if there is one thing that needs improving in this product, I would say that the piano should give us more flexibility to dual tones from same sound category without using Roland app. Thats why i give it 4 stars.

Well... quite expensive for what it is.
Pros: 1. Great, very heavy piano with weighted keys. The feeling is like of a real piano whilst playing. 2. The sound is amazing! Japanesee always perfect their crafts! It's a good piano. Cons: 1. Very heavy, the speakers aren't great but not too bad either. If you planning on traveling with it - good luck. You may need a body builder with you. 2. The worst is... that app which struggles to connect to the devices. Without it you can't access some of the amazing features of that device. It renders it useless in the future as the apps nor the piano is supported anymore! mind that! 3. No proper MIDI output. Not a stage instrument. 4. Lack of rythms if you used to play keyboards. No synthesisers. Nothing really other than paino and some instruments. There's a lot of cons... It doesn't come with a stand or 3-ple pedal bar. It doesn't have a cover for the keys... the app seems not interested in changing brilliance whilst you can do it on the keys... bizarre.. This is just a regular piano with some features of a keyboard. If you looking to do some music, electronic, synths - this piano isn't for you. Returning it for a refund and getting something more pro. 3 times more expensive but ... needs to be done!

Great keyboard. The line outs, Bluetooth connectivity and Roland piano app are great. Would recommend to a friend
