Gillette Fusion 4 Cartridges 5 Blade

It really is the best a man can get :-)
Verdict: The best shave you can get, period.Pros:1. Smooth as silk. When you shave with the blade while new it is the nicest shave experience you can get.2. The blade on the reverse is very good for trimming sideburns and for getting in under the nose3. I use each blade for exactly 16 shaves. I could actually use it a bit longer (see care instructions below to see how to make the blade last) but I prefer to pamper myself just a little bit.4. The lubricating strip actually works.Cons:1. A little expensive2. The lubricating strip runs out before the blades get dullCare instructions1. Always, always make sure you dry the blades and the stick out throughly before putting the razor away.2. Blow between the blades to remove the excess water and wipe away carefully before storing3. This little step has a significant impact on blade life.Shave Tips:1. Wet your face throughly with water for at least 5 minutes to get the best shave results. You can also shave after a shower for similar results.2. Spend on good shave creams/gels. Foams are quick but do nothing to help the shave glideDelivery: Before time, impeccable on Prime as always

The best a man can get - but can get better
Switched from Gillette Mach 3 a few years back. Gives good, smooth shave for the first 15 days, after that begins to loose its steam. Gillette Mach 3 would perform a little better beyond 20 day and stretch easily beyond 30 days of daily shaves, but obviously it is not smoother the Gillette Fusion and gets you lesser nicks & cuts than Mach 3.I have medium tough beard and not sure if the quality of water plays a part in the longevity of Fusion blades as I noticed. In India, the blades start roughing out after 15 days while I was overseas in a South East Asian country, the Fusion blades lasted longer, gave a smoother shave than in India. I would say, gave 50% more better shave overseas.Blades are pricey and you have to watch out for fakes/duplicates. But definitely one thing is sure that the current blades are about 75% of the first blades I started using 4-5 years. Not sure if quality is deteriorating at the manufacturing plant over a period of time. Initial blades (4-5 years back) used give 30 days of comfortable shave and now it has dropped down to 15 days, but I still stretch it by doing occasional 'ulta' (reverse) shave to get the best bang out of these blades. Also I found not much difference in shaving quality if one uses Gillette foam, gel or cream or any other brand gel, foam or cream.

Sharper blades, smoother shave but same old lubrication strip
Whew...these blades are sharp. Seem thinner than earlier blades as well. Got them at a great deal so if you are not in a hurry wait for the price to drop. Gives you a smooth shave. But these catridges are best suited for light stubble, not a well grown beard. I have edited my rating from 5 to 3 stars. Initially I felt that the quality of the lubrication strip has been improved. But it's still the same poor, brittle quality that lasts just a couple of shaves n then fractures. So after 2-3 uses the shave becomes less smooth and more irritating to the skin. I'm going to stick to Mach 3 whose catridges have a much better lubrication strip

Blade is irritating
When I was bought it from paytm it was great and cleaned shaved blade, but when I bought it from Amazon there is some issue in blade. I have used two blades in 20 days for only two time. And there were vey irritating shaving even with second blade. How its possible that two blades are bad at a time. Don't know is this Gillette problem or seller who sell cheap product.
