Does anyone know if this product helps with strengthening nails?

Biotin is good for hair and nails, my 8 year old already had long nails, but brittle. At first, her nails strengthened, but after awhile they started peeling again. That may be genetic as mine do it,too. I have found with 2 different hair and nail vitamins for her, after every day use for 2 weeks, the results were the same.
