The dimensions say the strap is 6" long! That can't be right. What is the strap drop?

There are double shoulder straps which are each about 21" total, which makes for about 9" from the middle of the strap to the top of the bag as worn over the shoulder. The removable crossbody strap is adjustable from approx 45" to 51", I needed a shorter strap, so I used a leather punch to add holes and adjusted it to my needs.

Opening size of the top of purse

Zipper allows you to open the purse about 10 inches. My husband's comment was "you can fit everything in there."

Country or orgin? one response said china, one canada, one hong kong?

I believe it was China. I love this bag. It is a very pretty bag, would have liked to see some outside pockets. You can never have to many pockets..

What is the width of the shoulder strap?

Width of long strap: 0.62inHope my answer will help you
