I couldn't be happier with this portable monitor! The display is bright, sharp, and crystal clear, and the monitor itself is incredibly thin and lightweight, making it perfect for travel or working on the go. What impressed me the most was how easy it was to set up. I simply plugged a single USB-C cable into my company-issued laptop, and it was instantly recognized—no drivers, no configuration, no hassle. It literally took seconds. I also appreciated that the manufacturer included additional cables for older laptops and different connection types, so it should work with just about any setup. The monitor arrived the very next day, and after using it, I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. I gave my adult son this monitor as one of his birthday presents and it was a huge hit!. He didn’t ask for one but I thought he would appreciate a portable second monitor to use with his laptop when working away from his home. He has two desktop monitors in his apartment, but he is job hunting and has taken over our dining room so he has more space to spread out his notes, complete applications, and participate in MSTeams interviews. As background, he is a chemical engineer and very computer savvy. From his perspective, the monitor setup was easy although some of the setup was intuitive versus being detailed in the instructions. He is pleased with the screen resolution and image quality for the purpose of basic internet, Word, Excel, and pdf display. His laptop easily recognized it as a second monitor for adjusting the screen layout/display settings. He loves using this monitor to display his notes for easy reference during his interviews. While he wishes the monitor came ready for vertical versus landscape display, he can purchase the necessary stand for vertical display later if still desired. It is a great value for a basic, light weight, easily portable, non-touchscreen monitor. Highly recommend!

So far this has been fantastic to use. Mostly I use it when I work on my patio on a nice day. Easy to connect to my Macbook or my work laptop and I don't have to use the power cord and the USB-C connector for the laptop/monitor connection (less cords is always a win for me). Picture quality is better than anticipated, it's really perfect for my needs. The case/stand it comes with is easy to use as well. This was a great value!

This has been a great addition for working and my desk and makes it feel less cluttered. I used to have 2 large monitors (now 1) and my laptop. I now have a portable monitor that goes with me to other facilities. It eliminates the need to find a free desk with a monitor. Now I just find a space and I'm set. It's very easy to set up, and the display is crystal clear. I have had no issues with it and would definitely recommend it. I will also buy it again if the need arises.

I needed a portable second monitor to teach classes online while traveling abroad. This monitor is very lightweight with good resolution for my needs. The size is a decent compromise between portability and functionality and it didn't break the bank. It's very convenient that the cover also serves as a stand, and it came with all the cables for various connection scenarios. I had no problem connecting it to my 2024 MacBook Air both directly and through an adaptor hub. Very good quality monitor and accessories.

Update: This is our family's third monitor. My husband borrowed mine and decided he needed his own. He loves that it's easily added to his backpack and that the one-cord connection means it takes literal seconds to connect. I bought this because my daughter brings hers to our house to work and she loves hers. This was easy to use right out of the box! Since getting it I have used it as a third monitor for work purposes and brought it on a trip with my iPad mini and portable mini keyboard to have computer functionality without the extra weight in my luggage. This is SO much lighter than my laptop and a fraction of the weight of the previous external monitor I purchased and so much easier to use. I love that it doesn’t require an outlet of its own and provides a large, clear viewing screen. Would definitely recommend.

Review from a non-tech user: for context, I use a small mobile table to stand while working, but I needed more screens to boost my productivity, and that’s where the VisionOwl dual 15.6” portable monitor comes in. This device is absolutely worth the price. If you work with multiple windows or multitask often, it will make your life significantly easier. In my case I reduced my windows to 80% (I still have good eyes) which made it possible to have about 5-6 windows open at the same time. What really sold me was the ability to power both 15.6” screens with just one USB cable. Most alternatives I looked at required two separate cables, so this setup feels much cleaner and more convenient. The build quality is solid, setup was straightforward, and the base feels stable without any wobbling. The controls take a little getting used to, especially if you frequently work in different lighting conditions like I do, since I find myself adjusting the brightness often. That brings me to the few areas I think could be improved (which is the reason for 4 stars). The built-in speakers are extremely poor in quality - honestly, I would rather they remove them entirely because I don’t see many people using them. Also, adding an auto-brightness feature would make this device nearly perfect for me. It would eliminate the need to constantly adjust brightness manually on both screens and make the overall experience even smoother. This device can easily be rated 5 stars. I love it.

This is a great little monitor so far. I have used it both at home and on the road over the past several weeks. It is easy to connect, and the screen clarity is good. It is lightweight to carry around. I have no concerns at all with it to this point.
