I guess I got a lemon. The laser worked, but I could not get a speed to register. Tried several times, on different pieces of rotating equipment, no luck. Returned for a refund.

I use this to check case fan speeds. Works like a champ.
The media could not be loaded. I use this to check case fan speeds. When one gets out of range, I know it's time to replace them. It's an easy and inexpensive way to prevent the overheating and replacement of other parts due to a bad fan. I need a no-contact laser tach for this job and found this one to be a good value. So far it has performed well.It shoots me out a reading once per second when in use. I find the "max" and "min" values to be very handy when determining whether it's time to replace a unit. Often times, a high or a low reading is an indication of the part starting to go bad.Now I won't be using this every day, but since I got it a good price-point, I can justify it sitting around for a few months at a time without use if need be. There's been a few other uses I've been thinking about trying it out for in the garage, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.Overall, it's done what it's supposed to. I'll be reporting back if I have any issues down the road.I was provided a sample for review.

Item works, but only indoors. Sunlight overpowers unit's ability to decode signal. Okay for inside the shop work.

Great Tool
My car's tach is unreliable and sometimes doesn't even work, so I bought this so I could do some adjustments to the idle and hopefully get rid of the rough idle/misfire it had. Worked great, I was able to get my car within specs and everything is running smoothly now. Very easy to use, the only thing I don't like about it is how light and cheap it feels in my hand.

Disappointed, to say the least
I was quite surprised by how large the device is. I expected it to be a little more "pocket-sized", but it's quite big.At any rate, I installed fresh batteries, followed the directions, got a laser, but it never registered a reading at any RPM. Disappointed, to say the least.

Está Dentro de los márgenes de calidad y calibración, le falta estética y el tamaño es muy grande para la función que hace..Se puede mejorar ánimo..
