I brought this for my husband and 2 boys. I had to use it ASAP soon as I received. I was thrilled that it came 100% charged and ready to use. Battery life states 96% AFTER I finished cutting. GREAT! I have been attempting to use a Panasonic unit that has built in combs which clogged after a few seconds and had to be cleaned out. Took forever and didn't cut hair well but it was designed for cutting your own hair and was easy to hold. This unit is more of a traditional clipper design so it can be a bit clumsy until you get used to it. The LEFT and RIGHT angled combs were perfect for the sides. While I did a good enough job on my first try, I imagine I will get proficient with this system pretty quick. There are enough combs and trimmer to allow you to taper any way you need it. I was a bit scared wondering where to start. The clipper was very quiet and didn't heat up in my hand at all. Cutting went very quickly, came out good, and I guess I'll recover the cost the second time I use it. Everyone loves it.

I purchased these thinking they wouldn't be all that great but the reviews sounded good so I gave them a try. Wow! They are just as heavy as my Wahl clippers. (I prefer heavy, not light, cheap feeling) I love the battery percentage and running time feature. I use these as my professional clippers in my salon. Used Wahl clippers most of my career but their quality has decreased considerably over the last few years. I find myself replacing them every year or 2. I'm hoping these last as long or longer. They cut like a knife through butter. Super quiet. No pulls. Just smooth. I purchased the case separately and these fit great. The only negative thing I can say is that the clipper guards included are only 6 of them. I also purchased the extra guards so I could complete the set. This set includes an A) which is a half, a B) which is 1.5 and then guards 1 through 4. The trimmers also have guards. Due to the price of these, I cannot complain there isn't the full set of guards. I highly recommend these. Update. The edging trimmer batter only lasts for 1.5 haircuts after about 6 months. Then, at 10 months, the main clippers started shutting off. Having to replace already. I suppose for the price and how much use I got from them, I won't complain. But I am bringing the 5 star down to 4.

Very nice set with plenty of guides. Rechargeable, it has eye hooks to hang up if you wish.

Just updated from my 20 year old clippers and WOW what a huge difference!! It's like using a laser compared to my old clippers (they were high quality, not junk). And SOOOOO much lighter than my corded version. Why did I wait so long? Dunno. Cuz I bought quality way back then and disregarded possible new advances. What a noob.

Very pleased with this item

I ordered these as I wanted to get away from my corded professional trimmers. They are ok and the price is right, but you get what you pay for. After a little over a year I’m starting to experience issues with them. They are not made of the same high quality material as the professional level clippers and trimmers and it shows. From the get go the clippers would not set to the lowest position using the lever. I had to manually push them into the lowest position. Not that big of a deal. Recently, the on/off lever broke on the clippers under normal use leaving just a nub by which to turn them on/off. The plastic is so thin that it can’t be superglued back on. I don’t think they’ll hold out for much longer. I also accidentally dropped the trimmers on carpet and they fell perfectly to where they landed on one end of the blade. The impact snapped off a small piece of plastic which holds the blade straight. They still turn on but they are crooked and unfixable. The batteries worked well on both and lasted at least 8 cuts before needing a charge. I’m not trying to rag on them as they have more than paid for themselves with money saved on going to the barber. They do leave a lot to be desired in the quality department, but you get what you pay for. I would recommend them for home use for someone not looking to break the bank but knowing full well they are not going to last or for someone wanting to try out cordless units before making the jump to professional level machines.

Looks good and functioned as described

Only small complaint is these are heavy; could be a positive point for others though. These cut great and are consistent. They are not noisy. The detailers get pretty close but I can still use them for body grooming without getting nicked. The guides are easy to take off and put on and stay put. Really solid clippers

I fade and cut my own hair for a long time now. I’ve purchased two different clippers before this and returned them after the first use. This one is absolutely perfect and it’s just the one I was hoping to have. Very easy to use, sharp on the hair and very smooth and comfortable on the skin. It also has guards for every hair length, the detailer is perfect for fading and very handy. The big clippers is perfect for the longer hair cut. I’m very happy with it.
