Thanks!** A: If the D5600 runs on EL14 or EL 14a batteries then yes. If EL 14 or EL 14a is not one of your battery sizes then the answer is no. **Q: The batteries from these camera are no where near this voltage and amperage. Why is the power adapter such overkill? (54W)** A: I don't really know but I think those are the maximum amounts that the charger/power supply can produce. The camera will not draw anymore amps than is what is required for the camera. If the camera only needs 1 amp to operate then it will only draw 1 amp from the power supply. The battery is rated at 7.4 volts but the charger says it's 9 volts. It's probably rated 9 volts with no load but once there is a load, such as a camera, it probably drops down to acceptable levels. All I know is I've had my camera hooked up to it for several hours and have never had a problem. **Q: Is this compatible with the Nikon 3200?** A: I have a Nikon 3300 & 5300 - works perfectly! The wire going into the fake battery seems a little flimsy but it works and I haven't had any issues with it so far.
