The Ultimate Road Trip: Family Vacation Collection (Adventures in Odyssey)

We loaded up our minivan and drove the family 16 hours to visit in-laws in Maine. This CD set was a HUGE hit with our 5 kids (ages 11-2) and helped them pass many miles of interstate driving. There are ~6 hrs of stories here. The stories are filled with good lessons, so usually after a story ended, we would pause the CD and have a quick chat with our kids (why was it wrong? what could be done differently? have you ever experienced this? etc.) as a good teaching moment. Do note that some of these stories appear on other AIO CD sets, so you may have a few duplicated if you are hardcore AIO 'collectors' like my family is! Recommend this for anyone looking for good, wholesome entertainment on long car rides, or in your own home!

I had this in my cart for quite some time not sure if I warned to spend the money. Not growing up with Adventures in Odessy I wasn't sure if it was worth it. On an extremely long road trip, stuck in traffic, kids screaming my husband commented we needed an audio book for them and I quickly purchased this, sent to our destination and ready for the ride home. It was the most enjoyable five hours in the car we've ever had. Since then we all look forward to getting in the car for any length of time and have purchased other Adventure in Oddessy cds. I have a feeling we will end up owning them all. Excellent value for your money and so many wonderful lessons for the kids.

What did we ever do without these? Adventures in Odyssey have transformed car trips into enjoyable trips. The stories are great, entertaining, age appropriate, interesting and give us opportunities to talk about life moments in a non-stressful way. Our kids ask for Odyssey as soon as we get in the car! (our kids are 5 & 7)

This was an absolute life saver our last family vacation, and it was enjoyed by the whole family! My 3 and 6 year old boys loved listening to the stories, as well as my husband, a long time fan of Adventures in Odyssey and audio books as a whole. Each cd has a new adventure, which I really enjoyed. I love how this one has 6 hours of stories, instead of 2 like several other sets have. This was our first purchase of adventure in odyssey cds, although we have listened to them on the radio before now. I see adding more stories into our collection in the future! Thank you for putting together a road trip collection!

Great, a nice break from the normal adventures in Odyssey, though my kids did listen to these over and over again. It was a nice change of pace.

Great (moral values) product for the whole family

My kiddos love these series! They are 8 yr old girl and 3 yr old boy. These keep them quiet and interested in the car. The only thing I dislike it the use of some of the wording... like stupid and idiot between the brothers and sisters in the stories or the ax murderer who was going to put them all in baggies and put them in the freezer. I could have done without all of that but all the good still out weighs the bad. These send a great message and I really enjoy them as well!

Buying this was such a highlight for our travels. It keeps the kids 6+ and up ages to entertained and the stories has great morals!

Kept me and my kids, 10 and 12, occupied and made the miles fly by on our last road trip. I grew up listening to these adventures and I’m glad they’ve stood the rest of time and still hold a captive audience with the next generation. Love the values and the wonderful wisdom of Mr. Whittaker
