fun & easy game to set up and play
the object of the game is to draw 7cards, then use those cards to move the game pieces that are owned by both players in such a way as to place the king into your castle. both players move the pieces depending on the cards that you hold tug-of-war style. you can win by either getting the most points by having the most pieces on your side of the board after going through the deck twice or by placing the king in your castle. the jester and magician have special abilities that you can move other game pieces on the board as long as the jester or magician are on your side of the board, if the jester or magician are not on your side of the board you can use their cards to move them on your side of the board; other pieces can follow the jester, the magician can make pieces appear on the same space. the two guards have to be on either side of the king at all times protecting him, even if theirs many spaces between them and the king, the king can not be outside the guards protection. tub-of-war games tend to take set-up so you can make big moves in one turn, it will take several turns of making small moves and saving important cards so that you can make a big move. the game has a fair amount of strategy to it.

Super fun game, compact, and aesthetically lovely
I love this game! It’s compact so it’s easy to store or travel with. It’s one of the best two player games we’ve found, and we can play it over and over in the same sitting without it growing dull or repetitive. I love that the board is cloth and the pieces are wood. It’s pretty to look at, and the materials seem high quality to me. I also think this game is easy to understand without being simple. Love it!

Wow! Look at the colors!
The board and art is beautiful, even if the cloth board doesn’t sit completely flat. Every piece and card is beautiful. Theme and game design work really well here. It can feel a bit repetitive at times though, and I feel like it doesn’t work as well if the other player isn’t that into it or hasn’t thought up some strategy, but I suppose all tug of war games probably need that to make them work. I’m a huge fan of childrens books illustrators and I don’t know if a bunch of games use these artists from this field as much as they should. The art really stands out in this small box and makes a short game an absolute joy

A new 2 player fav
Great game for 1v1 play. Components are of a high quality and the it is hard to just play it one time in a sitting. A++ all around.

Boring and Confusing Game, Waste of Money
I recently purchased IELLO: Royal Visit, Strategy Board Game, and I have to say, I'm extremely disappointed with the game. The game is boring and confusing, which makes it a complete waste of money. Firstly, the game is very confusing to set up and play. The instructions are not clear, and the gameplay is very convoluted. It takes a long time to understand the rules and how to play the game, which makes it frustrating to get started. Moreover, the gameplay is very slow and boring. The game lacks excitement and thrill, and the strategy is very limited. There are not enough interesting decisions to make, and the game feels repetitive after a few rounds. Additionally, the components of the game are of poor quality. The game board is flimsy, and the cards are not durable enough to withstand frequent use. The artwork on the cards is also very unappealing and lacks creativity. Furthermore, the price of IELLO: Royal Visit, Strategy Board Game is too high for the poor quality and uninteresting gameplay. I feel like I wasted my money on a game that is not worth the price. Overall, I would not recommend IELLO: Royal Visit, Strategy Board Game to anyone. The confusing setup, slow and boring gameplay, poor quality components, unappealing artwork, high price, and lack of creativity make it a complete waste of money. If you're looking for a strategy board game, I would suggest looking for a more interesting and engaging option.

!Excelente juego¡
