I put these on an all metal pullup bar without pads. The bar hurt my hands a lot, so I figured I'd try some pads before going with gloves.When they arrived I thought they were WAY too small as it didn't even come close to fitting. However, I tried anyway, with the first one using soap and water per the instructions on Amazon. With a whole lot of massive force, grunting, and twisting, I finally got it on and in place, but it took every ounce of energy I had and about 30 minutes of continuous effort.I then decided to read more reviews and saw one where someone suggested using corn starch. So, on my second one, I put dry corn starch on the bar and all over the inside of the pad. While it was still a struggle that required strong effort, this one took less than five minutes and was MUCH easier to twist it into place.The pads themselves are soft and seem sturdy so far and I do recommend them.

Very happy with these handle grips. They are comfortable and exactly as pictured and described. I purchased them to replace the foam grips on my Total Gym wing attachment. They are not quite as thick as the foam ones, but I think the rubber will be more durable. I followed one person's suggestion of wiping the bar handle with a soapy paper towel and running water through the inside of the tubing, making sure all inner sides of tubing are wet. I then just twisted the grips on the handle. Worked like a charm! Give it some time to dry, and they will be snug and secure.

No what I expected very short poor quality material.

They fit my lawn mower grab bar snugly. I used a spray of WD-40 to ease the installation. Feels much better on my old hands. I have used them once, so I can't comment on their durability.

Our very old garden loppers have been without any grips for years. I heated these grips with boiling water & they expanded enough to slide onto the lopper handles. Our loppers have a new lease of life & will be comfortable to use for years to come. Excellent product.
