How do these g-1205 compare with the green bell g-1008 clippers?

Very similar but g-1205 is a little narrower in shape

Before purchasing the G-1205, a portion of one of the reviews read, “Wirecutter’s top pick is the G-1008. When I ordered the first time, Green Bell was phasing out the G-1008 for the updated G-1205, so neither was easy to find at a decent price. When I looked again, that had fortunately improved, though the G-1205 is still the most expensive (but now it is by a couple of bucks, not twice as much.) The Green Bell G-1205 is definitely my favorite pick of the three.” I took that to mean the G-1008 model had been discontinued and a new and improved model to replace it had been introduced - the G-1205. I ordered this for my grown son who hasn’t reported on how well it worked. I always consider “no news means good news”! I must say, I studied the various models and brands of nail clippers a very long time and after everything I read, I chose the Green Bell G-1205.
