Brilliant read
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Gripping and Chilling Finale to an Incredible Series! As Good As Dead is a thrilling, emotionally intense conclusion to Holly Jackson’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy. From the very first page, I was hooked. The story takes a darker, more psychological turn than the previous books, and it’s absolutely brilliant.Pip’s character development is outstanding. You can feel her unraveling under pressure, and the writing pulls you deep into her fear and paranoia. The plot is full of unexpected twists, layered clues, and edge-of-your-seat suspense. Just when I thought I had things figured out, Jackson threw in another shock that left me reeling. This book ties the series together in a powerful, unforgettable way. It’s smart, bold, and haunting. If you enjoyed the first two books, this finale will leave you breathless. Holly Jackson has crafted one of the best YA thrillers out there—highly recommended!

Ooooh not the ending I was thinking 🤔
I loved the ending. I was so emotional I thought that she was going to do it...oh I'm glad 😊 that things went as they did.In this case Pip is suffering from severe PTSD, manic, on drugs to help her sleep and her friends think she's too obsessed. But she knows there's a stalker and he's after her. She's worked out who it is and yet is it too little too late....Read the book to find out.Highly recommended.

Good
I love these series, but this one is my least favorite from first 3 books. The beginning was a slow read. I knew it already who the DT killer was from 1 clue before Pip recovered Andie's old email.I was so disappointed for what Pip did and how she handled to get away and involving her friends. From that moment I started to skip reading Pip's thoughts and feelings, her character lost all my respect towards her.I wish there was another choice to choose how the story going.

Wow!!!
Okay I can officially say that this is my favourite series EVER!!! I need this as a tv show like right now!😂This book is the final in a trilogy and all 3 books were 5⭐️ reads!Even though I kind of had the ending spoiled by a TikTok I still loved every bit of it and part of the ending shocked me! This book took me through so many different emotions and I cannot believe it has taken me this long to read it!The plot of this book is very different to the first two as we’re not following along with pip investigating someone else’s ‘disappearance’, we’re following along with HER OWN stalker! With this book being almost 600 pages long, I was questioning how it could keep me hooked the entire time, but wow it did! The plot twists throughout this book were 😘🤌 and you should 100% read this series if you haven’t yet!I honestly cannot decide which of the three is my favourite as I love them all so much! I don’t think any series will ever beat this one!

A heart-pounding and ultimately satisfying finale to an amazing trilogy!
Actual rating: 3.5 starsI just wanted to write a quick note about my rating… If I was basing it completely on the thrill and my inability to put this book down it would be a solid 5-stars! I was on the edge of my seat THE WHOLE TIME and I’m so invested in these characters. BUT there were decisions made that lessened my enjoyment in terms of plot and that’s why it’s at 3.5-stars. I would still recommend it though!Just as in the previous books, I was immediately engaged in the story. Pippa is suffering her PTSD in silence and has turned to take drugs (specifically Xanax) in order to suppress the overwhelming sensations and flashbacks that are now her constant companions. She has lost complete faith in the justice system and herself to the grey area between good and bad and doesn’t know where that leaves her. Jackson has written Pippa’s tumultuous thoughts and experience of PTSD so incredibly well it’s as if you are experiencing it alongside her—the fast-paced drumbeat of nerves, the cold sweats, the flashes of bloody hands, and the inability to breath was shockingly visceral. I was completely twisted up in anxious knots as Pippa’s story took an unprecedented and absolutely insane direction and continued steamrolling chaotically until the very bittersweet end. At one point I thought my heart would beat out of my chest because I was so anxious for Pip! 🙈I have to admit that figuring out who DT was before Pip did was such a satisfying feeling and I was literally shouting at the pages at that point! 😂 However, that satisfying feeling didn’t last long because there were a few more turning points in the story that really had me suspending my disbelief because it is WILD, y’all. Seriously. W-I-L-D! I mean, I greatly admire Pippa’s character and wow, did I learn a lot from her situation and how she handled it (cough you know, for if ever I find myself in a similar situation one day—JOKES cough) but this was not the direction I thought her story would go and neither was I really keen on it? Without giving anything away, the situation escalates very quickly and then continues to escalate to the point that it’s no longer realistic. That said, a small part of me did understand (to a point) how it escalated the way it did especially considering how bad Pip’s PTSD is. It was heartbreaking to see her struggle to cope though. The ending is where another star was deducted for me because I felt like by that point Pippa had really been through enough and she deserved better than what she got. It was an overall satisfying conclusion though with the stories told in the previous books tying up pretty neatly and all the questions that were asked were also answered. I’m sad to see this series end because it has been one heckuva thrilling ride but I’m so looking forward to seeing what else Jackson comes up with in the future!

Would give the series 6 stars 🤩 🤩 🤩 if I could.
Best book ever from AGGGTM series, after reading this you feel like you’re been through everything with the main character pip, couldn’t stop reading, full of plot twists and again ending was great, start of book picks up nicely from previous book in the series.

REVIEW - AS GOOD AS DEAD BY HOLLY JACKSONGenre YA thrillerBook 3/3 A good girls guide to murder seriesWow, Holly really stepped it up a gear with this one! Gritty, gripping and jaw dropping!Team Pip and Ravi return but this time, Pip is saving herself. Her gruelling fight for survival at the hands of a historical serial killer.Despite having a hunch who the killer would be pretty early on, this didn't spoil the story for me one bit. I loved how we were also revisited by characters from previous books.Relentless Pip takes her hunger for justice into her own hands, pulling together every scrap of knowledge she has ever learnt in order to survive in more ways than one.I feel like Holly really captured the haunting trauma Pip was left with from book 2 here and we had a graphic insight into the depths of how that captivated her.Forever loyal Ravi by her side not only in body but in spirit, portrays his unconditional love for her throughout the book to the bitter end, choosing her every single undoubtable time. This book was my favourite of the series, it has me pulling every kind of facial expression and was so cleverly written.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⚠️ Elements some readers may find triggering⚠️⚠️ Graphic trauma⚠️ Mentions of drug use⚠️ Stalking & abduction⚠️ Murder
