If your pup needs full coverage, the Stowe Base Layer is designed to provide a cozy layer on those chilly fall days. With this dog bodysuit, the possibilities are endless. Use as a post-surgery recovery suit, or as a containment suit for shedding. On those extra frigid days, layer your favorite dog coat on top for full coverage ie: the Kurgo North Country Coat or Loft Jacket (sold separately). Completely breathable four way stretch polyester/spandex fabric for a comfortable & cozy fit. Includes dual zippers for easy harness or collar access. The tall, protective collar acts as a scarf to keep your dog's neck warm. Plus, it's easy to take your dog outside to do their business with the open area in the back. When measuring your pup, back length is the most important. Sleeve length will vary based on the height of the dog. Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle cycle, air dry or tumble dry low.

**Q: I have a super floofy chow mix that gets terrible snowballs stuck in his fur when we snowshoe.  Has anyone used the baselayer (grey bodysuit) in snow?**
A: I used this in the snow but it isn’t meant for snow, it get wet and does not stop snowballs from sticking.

A: Thank you for this question!  To determine if this size base layer would be a good fit for your dog, please measure the length of your dog's back, and the length of the back of your dog's neck; you can then check these measurements against the sizing chart to see if this would be a good fit.

**Q: Video does not show neck circumference.  what is  neck circumference on the s and  and xs.**
A: Hello - I do not know the neck circumference for sizes S or XS.  I had ordered for a L / XL dog.  I can share that even for my large dog it was a snug fit, which I believe is intended.
