Spectacular coffee
A friend recommended that I try the Gevalia French Roast coffee, so I picked up a bag here on Amazon. I have to say, I wasn't prepared for just how good this coffee is. I've tried many French Roast coffees, and I usually always go back to the Starbucks French Roast. But now I think Gevalia's French Roast is superior in flavor. It has the strong coffee flavor of a good French Roast, but it is VERY well balanced and SMOOTH. I will continue to buy this and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a bold, smooth, yet flavorful dark roast coffee. 10/10.

Great Taste. I used to get Gevalia mail order long before Amazon existed. I haven't purchased it in decades. My wife bought me this for my birthday because I like dark/french roast. I'm glad she found this. Besides being a great tasting quality coffee, I believe it to be low acidity. Dark roasts usually are. If you have an issue with GERD etc, this coffee may be able to reduce or eliminate that if you're drinking lighter roasts. I saw one review saying they prefer Peets over this - sorry but I went from Peets to this and Gevalia French roast "smokes" Peets (a little humor but true). I should mention that I use sugar and half and half. That combo makes this my favorite coffee currently.

The real deal!
My favorite coffee and the best French Roast. Has much more flavor than other brands. I drink virtually nothing else these days (wish it were cheaper)!

Exceptional coffee
We have been drinking Gevalia coffee for more than 20 years and it’s our favorite. From time to time we have tried other brands but always come right back to Gevalia.
