HOLD UP… you mean to tell me I can make my own highly effective hyalauronic acid serum for pennies??? YES!! Do I use it all over my body? You bet! Do I massage it in my wet hair? Heck yes, and bye bye flyaways and frizz. I had no idea how easy and cheap making my own HA serum could be, after purchasing hundreds of dollars worth and using it so sparingly all these years. It’s literally distilled water and this powder. Being that I am an over-achiever, ChatGPT helped me create an even more perfect serum. HA comes in various molecular weights. High molecular weight (this one) will penetrate the surface layers of skin and provide immediate plumping. Low molecular weight penetrates more deeply for longer term effects, but doesn’t “gel” up or thicken like a serum, more watery, but very effective. I blended high and low molecular weight HA powder together and added it to distilled water, shook and 24 hours later, viola!! The perfect blend! I added a stabilizer and it does not degrade with time. This bag will last through several generations, because only a very small amount is needed. I give this away as gifts and my friends love me for it!!

Love, love, love... For those who complained about clumpiness, it will be clumpy at first. But once you put it in the fridge for a few hours, it gels up nicely and has no clumps. Follow the directions. I reused a glass jar that held my previous purchased get (after cleaning of course). It couldn't hold seven tablespoons so I could only put five. It is thick but still really nice. I will find a bigger jar for next time. It does feel tight when first applied to the skin. But once it starts to aborb the skin feels so soft! I am getting the same affects as the high dollar gels for a fraction of the price. Time will see if it is as good in the long run. But for now I am very pleased!

I've just ordered this again and still feel this is a wonderful product. One thing I did learn though was that because this is a humectant it hydrates and draws moisture to it...just like it does on your skin. I made the mistake by NOT CLOSING the jar tight enough and the powder sort of absorbed the moisture in the air and wouldn't dissolve well when I'd make batches. So here's my tip....I've saved those little 'packets" that come in vitamin or supplement bottles and will not only close the jar very tight now...put put a packet of that in it, and put it in a tightly sealed ziplock bag to keep out moisture and have it perfect for each use. Probably the best beauty product I ever bought and the price saves me a fortune too. I started even using it on my "crinkly hands" (I'm 64) and in no time even my "crepey" hand were becoming so smooth and even. Sorry I didn't use on only one hand and take pictures of the difference! I did learn a very valuable trick with hyaluronic acid around the same time. It doesn't work as well in dry arid climates because it's a humectant. I'm not in a dry climate for the most part, but it has a better effect if you either spray some water on first (light mist) or use a humidify for a while if the air is dry. And my skin is normally very dry but it feels like "new skin" now and seems to last that way all day. I also store my in the refrigerator after it's made. Feels so soothing that way. With a bit of extra moisture to help plump up the lines and soften the skin, it's a game changer! Thank you for this wonderful product...will never use anything else!

The item arrived promptly and was just as described and pictured. This is the first time I have tried making my own hyaluronic acid gel/serum. MAKING THE GEL: I found this hyaluronic acid very easy to mix. I measured using teaspoons and tablespoons into a recyled glass jar with lid. Then I shook well before refrigerating. I went back and shook a few more times. It jelled up quickly. I found I needed to make much less than I thought because you don't need much, and because I don't want to use an unpreserved item for longer than a week. I made my first batch with with aloe juice as a base. The aloe adds a nice glow and of course has other added benefits. STORAGE: In a dark dropper bottle in the fridge. USE and RESULTS: I use a drop or two on very damp/wet face and then layer with an oil-free moisturizer. I also mix a few drops of prepared gel right into lotion and shampoo. Another use is to rub a generous amount on scalp and hair before washing, or add to your shampoo. My hair and sclap are wonderfully soft, especially after swimming. OVERALL: In the summer, my skin looked plump and dewy and my hair and body felt very soft. I think the aloe helped with these results and seems to work well with this hyaluronic acid. However, as the weather is getting cooler and the humidity is decreasing, I am not getting the same dewy looking and feeling results. It has not stopped working, I just have to tinker around a bit. THE KEY: Trap water/hydration by using this product over wet skin and then seal it with a good moisturizer. I also find spritzing with water (I use Avene) a few times throughout the day helps. I would not recommend using this product alone on dry skin, unless you are going into a steam room or live in a very humid climate. I feel dry when I use this product alone. TIP: If you want to look like you have just had a facial, add your gel to a very thick layer of moisturizer before stepping into a wet steam room after a workout. It's a cheap, yet highly effective hydrating mask. Every line on my face vanishes and I look this way for another day or too. It seems that the more hydration/water/liquid you use with this product, the better it works to draw and keep moisture in the skin. FINAL THOUGHT: It works for me and I will keep using all over, but it does take some effort to make new batches and you may need to tinker around for best results through out the year. I definitely noticed a change in the Fall.

Love, love, love this powder Okay I love this powder. I use it to make a vitamin c serum that I use all over my body. If you know anything about vitamin c, it is great for increasing collagen in the skin but is highly unstable and oxidizes quickly. That’s why making fresh vitamin c serum is one of the best things you can do for your skin. I make an easy vitamin c/hyaluronic acid/ferulic acid serum that I use all over my body day and night and I swear to you, it’s the best thing you can do for your skin. Here is my recipe: 1 tablespoon vitamin c powder (this is tricky, you need a vitamin c powder that dissolves easily in water, most vitamin c powders are around 70 mesh which is too thick to dissolve easily and are heavier so require different measurements, bos essentials has one that is 325 mesh that they are now selling on amazon, or you can purchase one on lotion crafters) The tiniest pinch of baking soda (optional – to increase PH) 4 tablespoons water A few small drops of ferulic acid powder dissolved in an alcohol base (do not use too much or it will make the solution cloudy. This is optional and will help stabilize the vitamin c and add additional antioxidant properties. A small squirt of glycerin (also optional but recommended) ½ tsp hyaluronic acid powder Add the vitamin c, ferulic acid and glycerin to the water first and once everything else is dissolved, add the hyaluronic acid powder (as it will chunk up first and take a few hours to fully dissolve). This will make about a 10% vitamin c solution. They say that you need at least three months to see the results of vitamin c or any new skin care routine on your skin but this wasn’t the case with me. I saw results within about a week and my skin has improved drastically since then to the point that people actually stop me and comment on it. I’m attaching a picture of my concoction. It doesn’t look like much but trust me, it is the closest thing to the fountain of youth that I have found and beats out any serum you can find in the store hands down.

I’ve been using hyaluronic serum for quite awhile and really feel it makes a difference. When I noticed the option to make it myself I couldn’t wait to get started. I’d read many of the reviews and it sounded very simple, even for me who abhors baking and following recipes because of having to measure. I collected all my gear, made sure it was very clean and put together the first batch. Easy Peasy except for the globs and lumps (reminded me of tapioca) that I couldn’t shake away... So, I regretfully ditched it. Starting over with much smaller amounts, I used room temperature water thinking that the refrigerated, filtered water was too cold. Yuck, same globs!! I repeated the process, but this time I added the powder to the glycerin instead. WOW!! Smooth as silk, so I proceeded to add the room temperature water little by little and I’ll be dipped in you-know-what!! Here are the lumps, AGAIN!! I’m not giving up!! I go rummaging through our cupboards until I find a nice small strainer and figure I’ll press the liquid out and toss the lumps in the trash.. I was hesitant to feed the disposal because I wasn’t confident that the junk wouldn’t clog up the works. What a headache!! The globby, wet, booger-like lumps were actually very firm and refused entry through the tiny holes. Then, the liquify part that DID pass through solidified into a thick coating of slime that was very hard to wash off. By this time, I’m discouraged at my failure to master the process, say “to Hell with it” put it in the fridge and go to bed. I planned on calling their customer service in the AM to ask for advice. In the morning, I took the bottle of what had been a liquid with globs of phlegm floating in it, out of the fridge, and all I saw was clear, no lumps at all, hyaluronic acid serum!! I could hardly believe it, but there it was!! I just wish the directions had indicated that any lumps would dissolve !! I’m not upset. All in all it was funny and will provide a humorous addition to my “guess what I did the other day” routine!!

It's really nice however after a few days it became a liquid like water. No thickness. I follow the directions and tried adding more powder but it is just not thick at all. I gave up and put a load more powder in and nothing. Still water

Like this up like it said on the container really good add my glycerin to it and very moisture. Just wanna know a great product.

Bought this to make up a hydrating face lotion. Feels very good , hopefully it will do what I expect it too
