Great product
I dislike clipping my dog's nails, but these make the job so quick and easy. These clippers are sharp, helping them cut quickly without squeezing the nails. The safety guard is helpful, but I still triple-check before cutting. My dog doesn't like being groomed, but she tolerates the process. The clippers didn't create any additional discomfort or make any noises that drew her attention to what I was actually doing. I recommend these clippers and would purchase them again.

Excellent and easy to use.
Excellent and sharp, so no nail splits. Yes, the handle did slide down, but was easily pushed back on. I might use some E6000 to glue it on at some point, but not an urgent issue. I like the sturdiness of this kind of spring and it reminds me of the quality that products used to have. It isn't heavy or bulky, so fits easier on the hand. Once you get the hang of just sliding the nail in and snip, the rest is golden.

Sharp nail clippers
These are great, sharp clippers and they fit nicely in my hands. They're furthest open position is sometimes a bit big in my hand though. The handle coverings recently started slipping like many people complain about, which I honestly don't quite understand why the company doesn't try to fix that issue. I think putting a little super glue in there then sliding them back on will keep them in place though I haven't yet tried it. The opening for the clippers doesn't fully open like most clippers so you do have to stick your dog's nail into the whole. Depending on your dog that may be a pain in the butt, it is for me some of the time. So I switch back and forth between these sharp clippers and the sharp clippers by diamond g with the bamboo handles as they fully open and I'm able to get into some smaller angles with them. These are a good price point so I'll be able to replace them when they start to dull to avoid any issues. If the locking mechanism flops around some, keep the lock side pointed down towards the floor so it doesn't cause issues and get in the way. Or you can simply use a piece of scotch tape and tape it into the unlock position for that trim session. Make sure you take the tape off and lock them back when you're done to avoid an accident or additional wear on the sharp blades.

Love them!
Love these nail clippers! They take a little getting used to, but once you get the hang out them, I love that I can cut little by little and round out the nails to not leave sharp edges, also, they don't seem to apply as much pressure as the big and bulky orange-handle clippers do.The only annoying thing is that the red rubber on the handles starts to slip off after using them a few times. It's easy to push them back in.

Stress Free Trimming
These are the BEST!!! I only write reviews when I am thoroughly impressed, and these clippers are review worthy for me! I am a very reticent nail trimmer, but I finally got my courage up and tried the clippers I bought months ago, and they are a game changer. They cut through my dog’s nails like butter. No crushing. No stress. My dog is a lab, and the smaller clippers were plenty big enough for his nails, and a comfortable fit for my hand. I clipped small pieces at a time, and then finished up with a little buffing. Perfection. A spa day for my pooch!

Made the old way - Quality
These are made the traditional Millers Forge way. Unfortunately, Millers Forge has cheapened their larger, orange-handled nail clippers and I had to return them. These, the smaller red-handled nail trimmers are strong, very sharp, rivet construction, tight tolerances - accurate and smooth cuts. Much easier and faster for my dog that has to suffer through nail clipping.

Great but not for small breed with curved nails.
These were sharp and did not split the nail. Cut through like butter.... But I could not use them on her back paws because she is small and they don't open all the way, so I could not get them around the curve if her nail. I would recommend for a large breed but I'm returning mine.

My Favorite Clippers for Working With Nervous Dogs
These are my all-time favorite dog nail clippers! The quality is excellent and the cut is so quiet and smooth. I’ve used a lot of clippers over the years and these are the only ones I consistently use with my own dogs and recommend to my dog training clients who often come to me with a history of fear, anxiety, and stress when it comes to their nail care. I can shave off very thin slices of nail at a time rather than taking off a big chunk with each cut. That provides so much more control and makes the entire process gentler and more tolerable for the dogs I work with. It almost feels like slicing through butter instead of a dog nail.Like all clippers, they do dull over time, but at under $10, replacing them for a sharper cut is well worth it.The photo shows the tiny nail shavings I’m able to take off with these which is exactly why I love them so much!

Exceptionnel : précis et silencieux
Exceptionnel !
