Review: Great base metal color for painting miniatures/models - This paint is great stuff, I forgot i even had it and it was a pleasant surprise. It's thin and it takes very little to successfully coat a model or miniature and get the desired look. I use it to paint generic metal armor or metal parts where something like Vallejo Steel is a little too bright and shiny, then I drybrush over top of it with the steel paint. It dries very quickly and it's easy to wash off with soap and water. It doesn't chip or rub off easily like many other paints either.

- Metal Color is the innovative range of metallic colors, which uses aluminium pigments in its production. The Metal Color range offers a wide range of shades in order to imitate the metallic finish of aircraft of all types and eras. Of exceptional brightness and extraordinary power of reflection, it allows the modeler to carry out the full range of painting techniques without the need to resort to enamels and lacquers
- Metal Color dries very quickly, but it is advisable to wait 12 hours after application before applying any paint masks, as it respects the smallest details present on the model and forming a homogeneous and self-leveling layer of extraordinary resistance a few hours after application. Metal Color can be tinted directly in the airbrush cup using colors from the Model Air or Game Air ranges. It can also be applied with a brush
- Metal colors can be mixed with each other, use directly with an airbrush, or diluted with or diluted with Airbrush Thinner (B002X6DTHK) or Flow Improver (B00QD780G0). Compressor adjustment for these colors is recommended at 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 a 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance we recommend using our Airbrush Cleaner (B002X6BNYQ)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Realistic Steel Base Coat

I used the steel color on plastic after sanding it and sprang it with an adhesion promoter. It was darker than expected but turned out to be an excellent base coat for the rust effect pastes and paints I used on top of it. A little went a long way—good coverage—and the manufacturer included a rattle ball in the container to help with thorough mixing.
