Review: It is behaving pefectly. - I got the package before noon and before I knew it, I had taken the old starter off and had the new one on and wired but i forgot to order the new solenoid. I had bought a new battery a few days ago so i installed it and decided to bypass the solenoid with a ?????????(just to keep amateurs safe) and that 15 year old motor started spinning as if it was 5 minutes old again, with no hesitation, and that mounting bracket is almost beyond belief that they made it so much thicker for the torque, so much relief not to have to worry about at least that.

Genuine B&S Starter and Fit perfect on my 1989 MTD Mower with the B&S 12hp 281707 IC Engine. New Life for my 33 Year Old MTD Mower with the B&S Engine. Function's Perfect & A Really Good Price imo.
