POOLPURE C4030 Pool Filter Replaces Hayward CX880XRE, Pleatco PA106, 4-Pack

The filters are wonderful.

What can be said? They are new filters and fit.

I just finished installing a four pack of these in a C4030 housing and they fit perfectly. They seemed to be well put together and the initial pressure reading was exactly where it should have been. Packaging was fine and there was no damage during shipment. Another reviewer mentioned that these filters have an internal support structure down inside the central tube, and in fact these had two, one at the center and one near the bottom. Pleatco, which was the brand of filters I was replacing, had one support structure at the center. I don't recall if Hayward filters have that but I think it's very important. There is another popular brand of similar filters sold on Amazon, and in the reviews there are pictures of filters that appear to have imploded near the center. I don't know this for sure but it wouldn't surprise me that those filters don't have this internal support because I don't see how that could have happened otherwise. Regardless, I will keep an eye on these and clean them regularly but so far it looks like a great replacement for the far more expensive OEM filters. Update after first cleaning: I just finished the first cleaning of the filters and the housing. Pressures had risen from 24 to 26 PSI, which isn't much but it had been 13 months so I figured I better check them out. One thing this company advertised was ease of cleaning and I can certainly vouch for that now. I used a low-end pressure washer with a wide fan spray nozzle, and was very careful not to damage the media. It took maybe an hour to clean all four filters to almost new condition, as opposed to 2 hours with every other filter I've ever had. It was a job I never looked forward to but these were not bad at all. They were certainly dirty, with a substantial amount of mud and detritus. The filter end caps were somewhat discolored but not degraded in any way. After getting everything back together and reassembled the pressure was about what it had been when they were new, maybe a little higher but not much. The water was somewhat cloudy for a couple of days but I added a measured amount of HTH clarifier and that took care of it. So with all that said I stand by my original review and expect that these will last at least 5 years if not longer.

It’s been two weeks since we replaced our Hayward pool filters with this set and our pool has never been cleaner! They fit perfectly and easy to install. They were about half the price of the manufacturer’s product. We’re very happy and satisfied with our new filters.

Cleaned my pool just as good as my OEM. Only concern is durability maybe update after this pool season is over. Update: one month in and just pulled them and wow were they dirty. Cleaned up nice and ready for another month before the next cleaning

The quality of these PoolPure filters appear to be at least as good as that of the Hayward filters for significantly less money. They fit my filter perfectly, just like the Haywards. They are durable and withstand multiple cleanings, just like the Haywards. Their filter medium is constructed with the same number of pleats, and they appear to provide the same high level of water filtration. The other off-brands I've tried have all fallen short in at least one of these areas, so these are now my go-to filter cartridges.

So far so good. I’ll update it again end of season. Hope it can easily to clean and no crack.

Any pool store sells them double the amount of what I payed, worth buying

Je pense que c’est un produit qui égalise ( presque)les Hayward d’origine et je viens de les laver. Par contre avant dans les réservoir à filtre j’avais de la bouette ( donc les filtres les arrêtées) chose qui n’a pas fait ce modèle, mais chaque année les débris et particules qui tombent dans piscine varient. Le temps nous permet de comprendre. En tout cas notre piscine était bien propre avec ces filtres.
