I really wanted to love it, but I hate it instead...
I've been caulking with different types of caulks in the interior and exterior for over 20 years... So I thought let me finally get the best caulking gun possible. How wrong my expectation was. The gun is quite heavy (not too big of a deal), but in my experience it does not give me the right "feel" for the amount of caulk needed to dispense (it's usually too much) and it can't be easilly operated by one hand (especially the cartridge retraction process), that I got used to so much, that it's a habit for me… I much more like the B1 style gun that is 1/3 of the price and suits me much better. Sometimes the best inventions are just a little too overengineered and I feel this is the case. So I put this one aside for the dirty jobs where the precise amount of caulk really does not matter that much, like roof and curb caulking... For precision caulking like molding and sinks, using the cheaper options... I really wanted to love this one...

My hands thank me...
Finally. A caulk gun that I can deal with. I have arthritis in my hands but refuse to let it slow me down. I am remodeling the entire house and that means a lot of caulking. The cheap guns at the big box stores don't help me out. Too much pain after the job. This does work much better with a lot less effort. Highly recommend.

perfect for OSI QUAD.
perfect amount of leverage/pressure for OSI QUAD, which is a thicker caulk that is painful to apply using a cheapo caulking gun. no need for multiple guns, either, this applies latex-based caulk just fine, too.doesn't have the no-drip feature (which retracts the piston after every trigger pull to make sure product doesn't leak out), but i have never seen the benefit of those -- they just make it harder to get a consistent bead down, and i see nothing wrong with manually releasing the pressure as needed after you finish a run.

This saved my hand
My biggest regret with this caulk gun is that I waited so long to buy it! Instead I squeezed my cheap Home Depot gun thousands of times to get any sort of caulk out on multiple projects with multiple types of caulk. (It had obviously slowly degraded over time and just wasn't all that great to begin with.) This is an incredible tool. The action is very smooth. It's easy to dispense a very consistent bead of caulk. The grip is comfortable. The only thing that it's missing (that my cheap Home Depot gun had) is a tool to break the seal on a new tube of caulk. I'd highly recommend it!

I'm seriously excited about this caulk gun...
ever had a cheap flimsy caulk gun with a grip that bends, gets rusty, or the plunger gets stuck so caulk continues to ooze out all over the place? Yup, had lots of those too.So I decided to go with this one from Albion... Yeah it costs more, but wow what a difference! This is a very sturdy, well made caulk gun! The thickness of the metal and paint is far superior to the cheap ones! The poker is safely tucked up in the handle, and the pressure is amazing!!! You can control your flow of caulk so much easier with this gun, which saves caulk, saves wiping up excess, and saves a headache. I've used it with painters caulk, pure silicone, Quad epoxy, and gasket sealant. This caulk gun is the best, hands down the best!!Never ever thought I'd be so excited over a simple tool as a caulk gun, but this is and will be the only caulk gun I will ever use period. Absolutely impressive. Thanks for such a quality tool!

I was skeptical spending this much money on a caulk gun, but holy cow I'm glad now that I did.
All my life I have used the cheap caulk guns figuring there couldn't be much difference between them. I have owned a ton of them over the past several years. Then I tried this one. I did not have high-hopes that it would be any different than the cheap ones. I was so wrong. This thing is AMAZING to use. I do a much better job caulking with it. It is easier to control. It give a much better consistent amount of caulk as you work with it. LOL, never thought I would be raving about the qualities of a caulk gun, but I now am about this one. Worth every penny.

Great investment
I've always had cheap caulk guns. What a difference! Very smooth, easy to use. I also have the B26 for thicker caulk - effortless, but more squeezing. Great brand. Good manufacturing. All metal where it counts.

A lot better than my old gun
It takes a lot less effort to get caulk out and less unwanted flow than my old gun. Good solid construction .

Great gun
Great gun. Smooth and way better then many out there. Albion has always come thru.If you need a good gun this is it. Who cares about the colour and other silly things. If your using this for work. Then buy this one. The 12 is not as soon as the 26.

Vraiment efficace!!!!
Un indispensable si vous utilisez bcp de colle et que vous aimez avoir un débit constant. Cependant la batterie n'offre pas le rendement prescrit.

Works well but will rust.
It works well until it rusts and gums up with silicobe and caulking. May purchase cheaper caulking gun knowing i need to replace after a time.

I would have gave it five stars but the color is way off, instead of the nice vibrant green in the photo it's more of an ugly light lime color. Also I find that the hook on the rod is to small but other than that it's a solid unit I guess.
