What is the difference between RS-120 and newer 135-9?

Differences are: the 135-9 is new & upgraded. 1) range is more on 135-9 2) weight is more on 135-9. Can buy just the receivers(headset) on the RS120, if it goes bad.

I bought these soecifically because an I'd be able to control my tv sound as well as these separately. It mutes my tv and they work. Whats the fix

Make sure you are using the RCA connections, (RED and White) either on the TV itself, the Cable box, or audio out. When you are using the Headphone jack on the TV, it WILL mute out the sound on the rest of the TV. so no sound will emit thru the room. however with the RCA ports you are able to hear the tv on normal volume in the house, and control your headphones to the volume you need so you can hear it better.

Will the headphones work with other Sennheiser bases? I have the 120 base and the headset broke, I want to get the better headphone and use my base.
