Leven Rose Maracuja Oil, Passion Fruit Seed Oil 100% Natural Moisturizer for Hair Skin and Nails 1 oz

My skin thanked me a while ago when I stopped using any commercial creams and started playing with DIY cosmetics. It's hard to make something not greasy with natural products without using any chemical additives. This oil came as the best solution. Highly absorbable, gentle, moisturizing, non-allergenic, fragrance-free, and very affordable! What else can I ask for? This oil is all you need to put on your skin. It doesn't have to be combined with anything else. I put it once in the morning and within 5 minutes it's absorbed and doesn't shine at all like other oils might. It feels the most natural of all oils I've tried. Perfect under makeup. I am 60 and my skin looks great, no wrinkles. I often get compliment and questions on why my skin is so glowing. My answer is: sleep well, eat well, and use Maracuja Oil ;-) Highly recommend!

This oil is incredible. I have an ipsy subscription and received a bottle of the Tarte Maracuja oil one month, and after realizing how great it was for my face I cleaved onto it and tried to make it last for as long as possible. The oil was the only kind I've yet to use which would make my face feel great again after being dry; it would relieve the dry itchy feeling after being outside a long time, using a salt scrub on my face, or any acne cleansing. I'd put it on after showering and I wouldn't say I still felt it's effects the next morning, but I wouldn't wake up with a dry face. I finally ran out of the Tarte oil and knowing how ridiculously expensive it was, I was looking for alternatives and I'm glad I found this oil! Now, I apply a few drops on my face before bed and prior to putting any makeup on in the morning. This oil feels even better on my face than the Tarte oil did, and I was surprised when it didn't smell like vegetable oil (anyone notice the Tarte oil smells like it???), it actually has a soft and pleasant smell. Either way, so long as it's available, this is a product I'll be using.

I've been using Drunk Elephant's marula oil but I wanted to find an oil to use for the oil cleansing method. Jojoba oil doesn't work well for me, and I'd heard maracuja oil was great for acneic skin because of its antibacterial properties and 2-year shelf life! I have normal skin with occasional blemishes, and I've recently gotten more interested in preventative care for my skin. Well, I can say that this definitely does NOT work well for the oil cleansing method. BUT, that's only because the oil sinks in to my skin so quickly and never ever feel greasy. I've never really known what a dry oil is, but I can only think it's something like this! Anyway, I've now transitioned to using this as a moisturizer by itself in the morning and mixed with the marula oil at night. I'd always found that the marula oil, while amazing for moisture, was always too heavy and greasy to use in the morning. This maracuja oil doesn't have that problem at all! Massaging the oil into my face in the mornings immediately makes my complexion look smoother and brighter. Anyway, if you're hesitating at all, I really strongly recommend this oil!! Already my complexion is clearer and I love how smooth my face feels. It also seems to have cleared up some small bumps on my forehead which is just fantastic!!

Edited- I gave this oil few more days of use but I changed the way I used it and it turned out really good, I used it on the problem areas on my face, it dried out all the acne in my nose and chin and cheeks this is where I apply the most and I’m happy with the results that even my pores are getting smaller which I like, I’m pairing it with other oils I bought, carrot oil at night, the sea thornback(cannot remember the name) in the morning my skin feels so nourished and soft. My advice is when buying the oil give it few days and play with it to see where it works and how it would be more beneficial to your skin. P.S when I typed my review I didn’t expect that the customer service would actually contact me but they did and they contacted immediately, they answered my questions which was really helpful and gave me ways on how to use the oils, I asked about the sea oil as I did not order it I ordered the pomegranate oil but got the sea oil instead(I decided to keep it and as I didn’t want to go through the return and reorder process again and might receive another thing) so they offered to send me the pomegranate oil as a gift which I’m thankful for them! I can’t wait to receive it and start using it, and they are not taking the sea oil back which I didn’t expect at all , so thank you for the great customer service you have! Old comment- I received my bottle yesterday and I used it , I thought it’ll soften my skin but instead it dried my skin out! I’m wondering where things went wrong, I use usually different brand have no problem with my skin, I washed my face dried it and used the maracuja oil but why things went south with my skin I have no clue

I've only used it one day, but it did moisturize my skin adequately. I like that it isn't greasy like argan oil. I'm using this as a day time moisturizer because I prefer a heavier cream at night.

I've been using this oil daily for 2 weeks and I'm so pleased it has made a noticeable difference in my skin! I've been trying to buy more affordable beauty products, so when my regular facial oil ran out that costs double the price, I decided to give this one a try. First impressions: no scent, easy to dispense, doesn't feel greasy or sit on the skin. I apply 4 drops (I live in a very dry climate, so 2-3 drops might be better for most), massage into my skin and then follow with my regular night time moisturiser. My skin has issues with redness, old acne scars and uneven texture, and is combination with dry patches and an oily t-zone. I've noticed the redness and texture significantly improve - the previously dry patches feel noticeably more hydrated and smooth. My oiliness hasn't been as pronounced either. I only get occasional monthly blemishes so haven't specifically noticed a reduction in breakouts, and haven't noticed my scars change. Overall I'm so glad I gave this a try! I'm so pleased that my redness isn't as severe and that my combination skin feels more balanced. It can be hard to find something that actually makes a difference to skin when living in a dry desert climate and this really does. I'll definitely be repurchasing once I run out.

Leven Rose's Maracuja Oil is probably the best Maracuja Oil I have tried, including Tarte and other unrefined organic brands. This particular oil seems lighter, less thick and syrupy than some I have tried. It absorbs into my skin extremely well and does not make my skin feel like I just slathered my face with melted butter (one in particular that I bought from a health store thad felt exactly like that...never again). Maracuja oil works wonders for my sensitive, acne prone, combination 33 yr old skin that is starting to show signs of aging. When I use Maracuja Oil my skin looks radiant and bright, is extremely hydrated without exacerbating oil or breakouts, does not clog my pores at all, and keeps dry, flaky patches at bay...especially after treatments or products that typically leave my skin on the dry side. It nourishes my skin after sun, wind, cold weather, and dryness from chlorine exposure when swimming, from exfoliants, masks and peels. Makeup looks better and applies better, lines are less noticeable, and my skin just looks healthier from the inside out. I even use a dab of Maracuja Oil on my almost 5 yr old tattoo that can get dull looking when not hydrated and it really helps to keep it deeply moisturized and looking bright. This particular Maracuja Oil has a scent that is light and pleasant, almost fruity. Other Maracuja Oils I have used were not scented like this one, but I find the scent lovely and calming and it smells a LOT better than regular ol' organic Maracuja Oil does, that's for sure. I also am pleased with the size of the bottle. It's large enough that it'll last awhile, but not so large that it'll turn before having used it all (I hope). That is the price you pay for buying unrefined oils, eventually they will turn (you'll notice by the smell. Rancid oil smells pungent), so I store all my oils in a cool, dark location to ensure their longevity. You only need about a dime size drop of this oil for your entire face and neck (which is less than even half of the dropper), it truly blends into the skin easily and any more than that you might find you do feel oily or greasy. Also, I would recommend if you're trying out for the first time to try it first on one area that needs special attention or hydration and see how it feels, absorbs, and works with your skin. If you do have a tattoo, seriously try a little drop on it and rub it in. You can thank me later. I love Maracuja Oil and truly believe that it's one of the best facial moisturizers on the planet, and I will never be without a bottle. That being said, I'm really really pleased with this particular brand and as I said, it's the best one I've ever used. I have yet to buy the same brand twice in a row, but I will definitely be repurchasing this one again after my bottle runs out.

Wonderfully fragrant oil that is good for your skin.

This is one of the best companies I've ever had the privilege of dealing with. Their customer service was exemplary!! I enjoyed the maracuja oil but I was not getting the benefits I was hoping for. The ladies at Leven Rose sent me a bottle of Rosehip oil and I think it is wonderful! It has a very mild scent and it absorbs well, you don't need to use much. It has softened some fine lines and I believe has also taken away some of the redness in my broken capillaries caused by sun damage. If you are looking to purchase essential oils,don't hesitate to order from them. You will not be disappointed!!

This is my first product from this company. I was bit reluctant, but I am happy in the end. Whatever oil it is, I hope it's Maracuja, works Ok for my face without any adverse reaction, I even applied it close to my eyes (lower lid), being careful not to get it in the eye. It is moisturizing, though more for the hands. On the face it mostly sits on top of the skin, but on my hands it is absorbed better.It is true, I mix 1-2 drops with a little hand cream, and in this way it works much better. I don't have special dry hands, still after washing dishes and other chores, I need some cream especially in winter. Honestly I bought this oil, as it is half the price of Tarte's oil. I have the 2 maracuja creams (one eye and one neck) from Tarte and I love them so I gave this maracuja oil a try.

I am very new to the use of oils in my health and beauty routine. I have been researching different oils and found that this one is particular is good for my skin type. I want to use primarily on my cuticles but will try it for other purposes as recommended by other reviewers to see if it works for me. Based on my first impressions of this product I am very pleased with my purchase. Oil absorbs nicely and does not have a strong offensive smell. I like that the dropper is precise and I can use on my cuticles which was the reason I bought in the first place. I’m eager to see results after a few weeks of usage and I am happy to discuss if anyone is curious to know how it goes.

This is a MIRACLE luxurious oil. TRY IT !!!!!!!! Hydrate my skin and make it GLOW in a way no products has done before. In 2 nights I saw a HUGE improvement in my skin. This is my new best friend. Perfect quality oil! Thanks Leven Rose!

This is a rich moisturizing oil and does have a pleasant scent. I prefer the sea buckthorn seed oil from this brand but it is very hard to find here on Amazon in Canada
