Great buy, but assemble right and get cover
Bought this in 2019 and still loving it 7 years later! Easy on/off (albeit I had to fix the igniter connection once) and propane tank replacement. A couple of tips: when assembling, donโt skip the glass cover shelf! I did and itโs so early in the assembly I did not bother to disassemble and add later when I discovered my mistake. Instead, I have to set the glass cover to the side (gently) each use. Not a design flaw โ user error. Also, do buy the weather cover. While the cover fades fast (we have in VERY sunny weather-exposed spot), the cover(s) left the fire pit/table pristine all these years later. The covers only last a couple of years for us, but worth it. Heat is marginal but nice. Look is spectacular. And nice place to set things. Canโt recommend this product enough.

Outland Fire Table & Wind Screen Are AWESOME!
Like others in the nearly 600 reviews I searched long & hard for a fire table with quality BUT within budget! Outland Living delivers both & more! I bought both the rectangle Fire Table & Glass Windscreen. Both delivered on time & no damage. I have to say the packaging is the best I've ever seen & who doesn't like a "Free Box of Air" ;-) I got to give you a Big Thumbs on creativity!! Like others I was able to put all of it together in under an hour. I credit that to the EXCELLENT engineering of the entire table down to the screws holding everything together. BRILLIANT idea to make them all the same size! 2nd they go in effortlessly! The instructions where straight forward with 14 very easy step by step diagrams & instructions. BAM !! YOU Have a cocktail Fire Table ready for friends & watching the mountains turn pink with cold beverages! I also bought the Windscreen which if you look at all the pictures in other reviews it ENHANCES the night glow of the flames bouncing off the 4 sides while at the same time keeping the wind out. The Windscreen was VERY simple to put together & you have to update the instructions ... YOU made it simpler for us by incorporating the fit gaskets, spacers in the bracket. All you have to do it start with a flat surface, line up the holes with the 2 brackets & simply insert the screws. I wouldn't tighten them down until all the brackets are installed, the windscreen is on the flat service & then secure all the screws at that time. Then simply put it on the fire table & BAM it's done!! A Fire Pit that has Quality - Style-it matches the wicker furniture I've already bought at the local Lowe's store. Cleaning is simple with some windex & a paper towel. We have a little dust here in the desert but the cover that came with the windscreen should cut down on that. There are anti-static cleaners out there that will help cut down on the dust collecting on the black glass that I will pick up. Quality-simply said like many others have, this matches or surpasses the quality of much more expensive fire pits that I've shopped for. It's NOT to heavy which is good if you need to move it around if you feel like rearranging for a different look. 1 person can do it without any trouble. The one thing I would suggest is test the spark igniter before installing the gas tank. You can simply do this by looking on top of the table where the square igniter is BEFORE you put your glass in. Once you push the spark igniter you should see a small spark going from tip to tip much like a spark plug. If you don't start trouble shooting. You don't have to take out the glass or disconnect the gas tank. In my case I simply overlooked step 1b ... ;-) I simply inserted the igniter cable as stated in step 1b being careful to take note of the rectangle of the plug, aligning it & pushing it on. Simple. I then push the starter button once again & I saw the spark. I then installed the rock, arranged it to clear the burner holes, installed the gas tank, push the button & like magic there are flames. This is an awesome addition to my back patio that will get much use watching the mountains turn pink & enjoying beverages! My hats off to the engineers, assemblers, designers, writers & packers of Outland Living! You make a quality product, easy to put together & that is one of the best designed out on the market! A fire pit that has excellent Quality - On Budget - Beautiful Design - Easy assembly!

Amazing customer service and amazing fire pit!
Extremely satisfied and Carmella in customer service is the best customer service person Iโve ever interacted with Overall, this was a great purchase! I was checking out different fire pits on all the different websites like Home Depot and Loweโs and target and Walmart I decided on this one on Amazon.com and I am very happy and satisfied! Pros: It is easy to put together and you can do it by yourself although I had my wife and would probably recommend having a second hand to hold things together if it all possible. The wicker material looks great in sturdy and should do pretty well in some light weather but I would recommend getting a cover especially for rain storms or obviously snow storms like here in New England. Getting it to turn on and lighting it is easy although myself and other reviews Iโve read it doesnโt turn on right away sometimes so just shut it off and then turn the dial again and it should ignite the second or third time if not the first time. The amount of propane that Iโm using in the fire pit has been pretty good as well I only had about a half of a tank full and Iโve used it about three times probably for three or four hours total and Iโve heard you can get between eight and 12 hours in a full tank so Iโm satisfied thus far. The flames are a good height itโs not too high so if youโre expecting like an actual fire then this is probably not for you but it probably goes up 4 inches at the max or somewhere around there. Cons but it was immediately fixed. Within a few minutes of me turning it on even at the low power flame level one of the rocks popped and exploded and I burnt a hole in my seat cushion on my patio furniture. I called the company and talk to Carmella I believe sheโs a customer service manager and she is amazing the best customer service person Iโve ever spoken with or interacted with, seriously. I also bought the accessory kit that comes with the cover and day wind glass protection kit and she refunded that order for me.I also bought the accessory kit that comes with the cover and a wind glass protection kit and she refunded that order for me. She also is replacing the rocks. My guess is the heat temperature from cool to very hot caused one of the rocks to pop. I would definitely recommend the accessory kit because if I had that on first the glass hopefully wouldโve protected the rock from flying out but the accessory kit wasnโt delivered until a couple days later. My guess is the heat temperature from cool to very hot caused one of the rocks to pop. This is a great product!
This is a quality product! It is very well engineered, good looking both as a table and fire pit. It came well packed and though the outer box showed some abuse the excellent packing protected the contents perfectly. The instructions are very well written by people who obviously speak English and assembly took no more than 10 minutes using only a large Phillips screwdriver. Many reviews mention that the spark igniter often doesnโt work. I tested mine before filling with the glass rocks and sure enough no spark! Turns out the gap between the spark electrode and the ground point was too large, by carefully bending the electrode toward the ground point with needle nose pliers I got a spark. Hooked up the gas and it lights every time so far. Note that you must make this adjustment carefully so as not to crack or break the ceramic insulator. We have had the table for two weeks now and have used it every night. It may not be for you if you want to get warm on a cold night but itโs perfect for cool Florida nights the flames and their reflections on the black glass are mesmerizing, almost hypnotic. I did order the accessory kit which arrived a week after the table, and yes you can install the insert holding brackets without dismantaling the the table if you donโt mind working on your back (4 screws under the table top) Everyone who has seen it loves it and at least two neighbors are considering buying one. It is half the price and twice the quality of similar products I have seen in outdoor furniture stores. Oh yes, when I registered the table on line I mentioned the spark issue and less than 24 hours later I received a phone call from a nice woman in Canada who offered to help.

beautiful firetable and great value
I researched and shopped firetables at the usual big boxes and on-line vendors. This Outdoor Living table was given a top rating by an independent review site and I totally agree with that assessment. It is pricier than what you can find at the big boxes, but after looking at their products carefully I wasn't impressed with their quality. And I looked at significantly more expensive products on-line but couldn't see how they were superior to this table. Packaging was great and assured the product arrived without damage to any of the parts, including the glass top. Plus you can chuckle over the "free box of air" that's included as a space filler. Assembly instructions were explicit and clear...you should have no problem with assembly if you follow the step by step instructions. I was particularly impressed by the precision with which everything fit together; no gaps, no loose wiggles, even the threads on nuts and bolts were machined with precision (no need to worry about having to apply a lot of torque to get them together). I also bought the glass wind break, the glass cover, and the table cover; these seemed a bit pricey but they are well worth the extra dollars. The glass wind break adds a nice look and is really worth having if you have kids around. We've done smores with my grands and the wind break provided a much needed barrier to keep their fingers away from the flames. We haven't dropped any marshmallows onto the "ice" (i.e. glass coals) yet! The assembly instructions on the table were so thorough that I decided to call the company when I had a question about the washers used in the wind break assembly (the instructions showed them as a loose part but they are actually pre-sealed to the glass). I've never encountered such good customer service. Super professional, friendly and totally on top of their game. You buy this type of table for its quality and its design aesthetic. I've already raved about the quality. I've included a picture of the table on our deck which should confirm its aesthetic. The table itself is beautiful (with the glass insert cover you can use it as a table when you don't want to have the fire on); the fire ice and flame provide a stunning look; and the glass top reflects the sky (or in my case a very large oak tree the overhangs our deck). And there's enough room on the sides for drinks and small plates when you have the fire lit. And if you are worried about anything falling on the glass top when not in use, I kept the box that the wind-break came in and it fits perfectly over the wind break and the box flaps cover the sides of the table top. The cover fits nicely and snugly over all of it!

Awesome value - Sturdy firetable
Overall we are really happy with this firepit/table. It looks great and is really sturdy. We added the windshield, extra glass and cover and it is a really great look for the price. The assembly was not too bad, but read the instructions before you cut any of the plastic strips!! Other than that it is doable for one person in about 30 minutes or so. In operation, the fire looks great and gives off a decent amount of heat. The piezo lighter is crap. We just use one of those cheap candle lighter things instead, but I would have expected the igniter system to be better.

It is extremely easy to assemble and only took about 30 minutes
We are thrilled with our purchase! I did extensive research looking for a quality table that was also affordable. This table checked all the boxes! The table was delivered sooner than expected and was very well packaged. It is extremely easy to assemble and only took about 30 minutes, mostly unpacking and very few steps to assemble. We also purchased the accessory package which includes wind screen, flush lid, and a cover. The wind screen adds so much to the ambiance of the table! The fire reflects off both the wind screen and the black glass top, creating a dramatic effect! All the tempered glass pieces are thick and sturdy. Everything about this table screams high quality! Many tables seem to come with entry level rocks and a minimal amount, but not in this case. There is just the right amount of rocks provided to fill the burn pan. The rocks are white/clear and when in use it appears to look like melting ice cubes -- again, a very dramatic effect of fire and ice and amazing with the reflective black glass table top. Unfortunately, there was one problem and that was with the lid that came with the accessory package. The clear glass lid allows you to cover the burn pan and makes the entire table flush when not in use for fire. In my case, the lid was not cut correctly and did not fit flush on one corner. The good news is that Outland has excellent customer service!! Tony at Outland was easy to reach by phone and quickly followed up with emails. A new lid is on its way. This is a top notch company with a high quality fire table. If you are looking for high quality for a good value, it can't be beat!

This Outland Fire Table is the center of the party!
** See 1 and 3 year update below, also LP to Nat Gas conversion info ** Thank you for a great product and for standing behind it well. Assembly was straight forward and simple. It is very attractive. I especially like the look with the additional reflections off of the wind fence (purchased separately here on Amazon). The attached picture is of the table with our neighbor's son that I have help me once in a while with projects. My daughter and her friends thought it was great last night as they inaugurated the fire table eating pizza, roasting marshmallows and making smores, then soaking in the hot tub and finally they finished out the night sleeping under the stars on the trampoline. The perfect teenage night (because there were no boys allowed). :) Update: I quickly received the new top without chipped glass. After owning this for 1 1/2 months, it is easily the primary focus of our new beautiful deck. We've spent many evening hours sitting around it enjoying the beautiful fire mesmerized while the reflections danced around on the wind fence. I highly recommend the 3 piece set with a vinyl cover, wind fence and glass lid. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JQZ4M3U ** 1 Year Update **: We had a record winter with 3 feet of snow on the deck. This table was under it with the accessory cover the whole time. We never got it put away inside like it recommends. This spring, after a little bit of Windex, I was thrilled that it looked and performed as good as new! A couple of maintenance tips: First, the smoked glass is a dust magnet. So store some window cleaner and a rag underneath the table with the LP bottle. It only takes a minute to clean and when it is clean it is FABULOUS! Second, clean the fire rocks. Bugs are attracted to the flame and tend to die and burn onto the rocks. They look SO GREAT when they're clean and sparkly, but just ok when dirty and covered with dead bugs. So every time I refill the propane tank (about 15-20 hours of operation) I scoop all the rocks into a 5 gallon bucket with some water and a little dish soap and swirl them around a bit. I rinse them off and pour them back into the trough. It takes about 5 minutes and they look brand new again! ** 3 year update **: We still sit around this table at least weekly for 3 seasons and more when the weather cooperates. We still love it as much as when it was new and it still looks great! We've never put it away in the winter other than to put the vinyl cover over it. Outland Living finally released an LP to Nat Gas conversion for this table and I jumped at it. My table is the older model 400 table (not the current 401). The kit was really designed for the 401 and the installation was a little more complex for the 400. I'm an HVAC guy so I handled the curves ok, but I wouldn't recommend it for an average DIY person. I'm sure the 401 conversion would be plenty easy though. I'll try to post a video of the table burning with natural gas. It looks just as good, if not slightly better! If you want tips to do the conversion on the 400, leave a comment and I'll write something up.

Beautiful Design
I just purchased this fire table. I was hesitant to spend this much money on a fire pit or table but after looking at many of them for over a year we settled on this one due to the positive reviews and the look of it.Anything priced under $600 CAD just didn't have the look we were after and the nicer ones we like were all well over $1,000, so this one seemed like a good deal. I have just finished assembling it and trying it for the first time. It was easy to put together and I was able to do it myself quite easily. The only issue I had was that a couple of the parts were not aligned properly in the manufacturing process but I was still able to get it together. Once assembled it started as promised first time and in subsequent tries without any problems at all. It looks fantastic! I would highly recommend buying the accessory kit with it since it doesn't come with a cover of any kind and if exposed to the elements at all it will become dirty very easily. Ours is under a gazebo but will still get dust and dirt etc... blown into it from the wind. We are going to order the cover for it now. I will update this review after we have had it for a while but so far I'm loving this product.

Amazing price - Looks Great - Works well!
I was initially skeptical given the price was so much lower than similar tables. However, after seeing the distributer was local to us (Surrey, BC) I decided to take a chance and ordered it. I ordered it Easter Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday! The box was heavy but UPS brought it right to my front door. It took me approx. 30 minutes to assemble with a powered screw driver. My only advice is to make sure you start the screws by hand to ensure they donโt cross-thread. Once assembled it lit on the first try! It looks awesome on our deck and the flame height is easy to control. The entire table feels quality made and I still canโt believe it is priced at only $599 on Amazon ($699 on their own website). The closest table to this is from Napoleon and it's priced over $1000 at Rona and online. My only negatives are the lack of accessories such as a cover, wind screen, or something to cover the burner area so it can also be used as a coffee table. I ordered the Napoleon fire table cover and it fits, but it's about 6โ longer than this table. I plan to have a piece of glass cut locally to fit over the burner area. Otherwise the table looks great, works well and it well made for what we paid.

Exactly what I was hoping for
This fire table is exactly what I was hoping for. My husband and I did a lot of research before deciding on this one. It was more than we wanted to spend, especially once we added the 3 piece accessory kit, but I'm happy he convinced me. The table is excellent quality. It came well packaged, so no damage and was relatively easy to put together. It took my husband a little over an hour and he suggests you read the instructions all the way through to the end before you start. Once it was put together we lit it up, sat around and enjoyed. It puts out some nice heat, even with the glass wind protector. We are really happy with our purchase and look forward to spending many evenings enjoying it. My one complaint; the shipping was incredibly slow. It sat for 6 days before UPS even picked it up and it was delayed at every warehouse (likely COVID related) which was frustrating. But it's here now and I'm happy.

Would recommend to friends and family
Took a bit longer to arrive than hoped but all COVID related. Responsiveness from Outland customer service on delivery questions was quite prompt although it was a UPS issue. The packaging was first indicator that it was going to be a quality product. Great instructions on assembly and startup. Single tool assembly and didn't take long at all. Fired up the first attempt it looks amazing. Looking forward to enjoying this for years to come.

Better than we hoped
We had been looking at purchasing a fire table this spring, and couldn't find one that we liked, either they weren't very well put together or they were really expensive. The last place we thought to look was Amazon! It came within the week, the instructions were easy to understand and went together quickly, it looks fantastic, the quality is high and it gives off great heat. We are thrilled with this purchase!
