However,I can't wear Vionic unless there are velcro closings on the straps b ecause they are sp wide. With the velcro strap, I can pull the straps all the way across my foot so they are snug on my feet, but the straps stick out over the side. The strap that goes down the middle of the top of this sandal is removable. I took it off because the look of the shoe is just too busy for me with all the straps. Maybe it would be look better if the shoe wasn't so wide.
