16GB kit (8GBx2), 260-pin SODIMM, DDR4 PC4-19200,

We have a low end HP All-in-One PC for our kitchen that only came with 4GB of RAM, so it was at times painfully slow at even the simpliest of tasks. After some research and online videos, I ordered the most RAM I could install in the PC, which was a total of 16GB. So for around $40, I was able to crack open the PC case and install the memory cards without issue. Now the PC runs much faster and everyone is happy. WIsh I would have done this much sooner. Crucial makes good RAM that performs well and is economical as well.

If you have a Synology that can have its RAM upgraded you should do so. All Synologys come with too little RAM and this impacts your performance due to a lot more "to-disc" swapping. Synology sell overpriced RAM. Their "Synology" sticker adds a premium. Corsair makes compatible RAM at a much fairer price. I suspect their "Corsair" sticker supplier charges a LOT less than Synology's one does...hohoho. You MUST research which RAM will work for your system as the Synology boxes are pernickety about this. I originally ordered via Aliexpress but the order was cancelled. Then I checked the part number on Amazon and was pleasantly surprised that even with shipping included to SE Asia that I was going to save about 30% off the China pricing. Fortuitous indeed! RAM arrived quickly in less than a week. Just installed into my 1819+ and it booted fine. Do note that the first time it boots after a RAM upgrade it runs some system checks and will take noticeably longer to do the first boot. I did not time mine but guess it was about 3 minutes instead of the usual 1-1.5 min. The full 16GB is showing up. My memory swap has gone from 2.4GB to nothing (12MB pffftttt!!). That 2.4GB is no longer sitting on my hard drives but now in the super fast RAM where it should have been all along. In system Monitor both Disk and Volume usage has also plummeted to nearly non-existent. If you have the Synology 1819+ it is a no brainer. Buy it. Your hard drives will thank you. Update: Two issues. Firstly my Dockers stopped working after this upgrade. They were running but inaccessible via web interfaces. I fixed it by stopping from the Synology docker app and under the container/action menu I needed to select "clear". After restarting they are working great. Sad to lose all that "Tautulli" data, but no major issue. The second issue is equally weird. For some reason my calibre library disappeared from the network twice. I had to go into the shares and make it visible again to both Synologys file manager as well as to others on my network. Was a bit scary seeing it missing, however I do have weekly backups done of it so no worries there. Just a bit odd. Since then it seems to be settled down now and no more quirks.

I use this brand in all my computers. They work very well and I have never had a problem with them. Great product for a very reasonable price.

Super easy to install and arrived before the delivery date!

My laptop screen had been going in and out for the past few weeks and my laptop would randomly restart while I was working, turn on in the middle of the night when it had been fully shut down hours ago, and refusing to use the charger unless I unplugged and replugged it several times to make it happy (basically, it has a lot of strange problems). It restarted on me during class on a Thursday and I couldn't get the screen to turn back on, I was like whatever, it has been doing this for a bit, if I just shut it down for a few minutes and turn it back on it will work, or worst case is I'll have to go through the ridiculous process of taking it apart to unplug the battery so I can drain the excess power and then it will work (because I did that a few days earlier and it fixed the screen problem for a day, long enough to take notes in classes). This time I still couldn't get the screen to turn on and didn't have time to work on it in class or that night, so I waited until Friday to take it apart and get the battery out, but that still didn't work and I started panicking because I had three exams early the next week and all of my notes were on my laptop. I was also panicking because usually the weekend delays shipping times and I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to get in the part I needed until midweek the next week, which would have been too late. Amazon shipping was estimating that it could be to me by Monday, but I had had similar experiences before with trying to get items shipped in on short notice and they had always been a day or two late. I ordered it anyways and it sure enough was in on Monday, today! Just in time to give me a chance to get my laptop up and running again so I can study! I am so happy! I have only had my laptop working for a few hours now, so I can't tell what all replacing the ram might have fixed, but I can definitely tell that it is working much faster than before, even though I still have the same amount of ram. I will update after I have had enough time to actually tell what changes have happened (the random restarting and screen problems seem to be fixed for right now, thankfully), I just wanted to write this review so soon because I am so relieved that it came in so soon and has fixed my main problem for the time being.

My laptop is a few years old and has gotten very slow and buggy. I dont use it often and I didnt want to spend $600+ on a new one so I tried various other methods to clean up whats already there, but nothing worked. Eventually I looked into RAM upgrades, and decided its cheap enough to try to see if it works. In my laptop user manual it only showed official support for up to 16 gigs by using two 8gig sticks of ram. I looked into compatability for a few hours and settled on this one. I ordered the 16gig set (2x 8gig sticks) but what I got was a single 16gig stick with the package incorrectly labeled as 2x 8gig sticks. Returns are a pain so I tried it anyways replacing the original main 2gig stick and leaving the original 4gig secondary, and so far it works with no problems. The laptop still is slow to boot, but once you get to the desktop everything is much faster and loading times are near instant compared to before.

I needed to beef up my Dad's old Dell laptop that still had 8GB RAM and an old slow mechanical hard drive. It had a boot time of nearly 5 minutes and would frequently run so slow that he wasn't able to do routine things like trade stocks and check email. So I added a 256GB Hynix NVMe SSD. I was surprised his laptop even had an open SSD slot inside. Then I switched the Operating System (Windows 10) over to the new SSD. This sped things up considerably. Next was switching out his original RAM for this 16GB Crucial kit. I've used Crucial RAM before and have never had a problem with it. These sticks easily snapped in place and booted right up. His boot time is now 53 seconds. I think that's still too high, but it is a laptop that's approaching 5 years old. So you can trust this Crucial 16GB RAM kit. It's fast and reliable RAM.

Have been using Critical memory for years in all my computers since the 1980s and never had any problems with them. Best memory for upgrading too.

Hello and I needed to upgrade the stock 8GB RAM on my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-42 {RYZEN 2500U and 4GB GDDR5 RX560X Variant} Laptop. Because 8GB was nowhere enough for my usage. So, went to Crucial website and searched compatible RAM's for my laptop where it listed this product. Obtained 16GB KIT {8GB * 2} in Dual channel configuration and i can say that performance is awesome. Previously Single channel 8GB RAM from micron was having less performance with stuttering in games and multitasking. Now, Games are more smooth on High Settings they use more than 5GB RAM and Multitasking is very easy. Overall an Awesome product and week/year of this memory is 31/18 which means The RAM is recent. So, no issues! I will give this product a FULL 5/5.

Je n'ai pas l'habitude avec les sites d'achats en ligne mais j'ai été surpris de voir que mon colis est arrivé à la date convenue et assez rapidement comparé à d'autres sites. Le colis étais en parfait et et les barrettes de RAM aussi. Au niveau de l'installation tout s'est bien passé : en moins de 5 minutes j'ai pu remplacer la RAM de mon PC portable qui avait à la base 4Go par ces barrettes 2x8Go et aussitôt le PC fonctionnait avec 16Go ! Je vous conseille d'aller voir un tutoriel sur internet sur comment l'installer si vous n'y connaissez rien. Pour ma part j'ai juste eu besoin d'un tourne vis pour retirer le cache en dessous et de remplacer les barrettes. Pour vérifier si vous avez bien les 16Go attendus, allez dans votre Gestionnaire de taches puis dans Performance. Faites juste attention à prendre la bonnes fréquence pour les barrettes ainsi que vérifier si il y a bien au moins 2 emplacement de RAM possible et tout devrait bien se passer.
