Laces not long enough
The skates are comfortable and true to size; however the laces were not long enough to lace up all of the hooks.

Good
I used it 4 - 5 times last winter and it worked well. It is little rough on the ankle but front feet but I guess it gives a good support to the ankle and the feet.

Great starter skate
Daughter really liked. Good economical purchase when dealing with a child who you are not sure is going to stay in lessons. After she outgrows these (and if she is still interested) we will probably upgrade.

great skates for my daughter.
size and design are great for my seven year old. she has skated with these twice so far and they are comfortable and easy to put on/take off without adult help. overall thrilled with this purchase.

Best value that I've found for a beginner skate
I wanted to learn to ice skate with my daughter, but with size 13 feet, Men's skates are expensive and the options are limited. I tried a few used skates, before buying these, but with no luck. These skates are comfortable with no blisters or sore spots. My feet hurt/burn after working on crossovers, especially when I haven't practiced for a while, but I think that's just my muscles wanting to go back to my otherwise idle activity level. I do notice that I trend to lean my ankles over way more that I should, especially with some fatigue. This is hopefully lack of muscle tone in my ankles because I don't want to think that it's these skates. I've been able to do 3 turns and just a few spins without issue. These may not be the latest and greatest model, but neither am I and these didn't break the bank. At the moment, unless they end up going catastrophic on me, if be inclined to replace them with the same thing, if/when I wear them out.
