The Henna Guys INDIGO POWDER For Hair Dye/Color - (300g)

Waste of time and money. I applied this indigo twice in a matter of 2 weeks and I still have orange hair from my henna applications prior to Indio. I have never had this bad an experience with indigo before. The colour doesn’t transfer to anything at all, not on the clothes I wear, not on my shower cap and most definitely not my hair. Repeated applications have not helped. Will not recommend to anyone I will certainly never buy this brand again.

It’s the 4th time Im purchasing this product. The last two times I have used it has given me a strong headache. I am thinking of giving up henna hair dying because of this bad reaction.Update …I do not believe it was indigo who gave me headache. Might have been the cassia obovada. Not a good quality

I love this product. I mixed it with henna and cassia. First I mixxed the henna and cassia with cold filter water and ACV. Left in a dark place the mix cover to release for about 14 hours . Then I mixed separated the indigo with room temperture chamomile and red tea sipped overnight . Righ after I mixed the henna already released with the indigo mixture. I applied and left on my head for abou 90 minutes . No mess at all, no stains on my face. Washed out with cold filter water. ( I have a filter shower) . No shampoo no conditioner just rinse with ACV mixed with water., argan oil on the ends. My hair looks beautiful and very soft.For sure I will buy this product again.The only thing the company needs to fix.. the instructions are for henna no for indigo. I didn't have problem because I have red a lot about henna and other natural plants for the hair.i hope this help other people looking for natural hair dye.

I have been using this product for years now and love the fact there there are no dangerous chemicals in it that would damage or dry my hair. It's also much cheaper than buying a regular hair color from the pharmacy. It is effective at covering stubbornly gray hair. It does take a bit of playing with to get the right color - it's easy to make your hair too red/orange. As other reviewers have said, the smell is very pungent to the point it is overwhelming, but I can get past that if it means I don't have to use damaging chemicals on my hair. I have tried different brands and this one has a great price point so I'll stick with reordering this one.

The product is good quality. However, it darkens the red henna color to a mahogany with tinges of red, as opposed to black. It’s possible that the darkness I’m looking for will come with repeated use.As advised by the seller on the amazon site, it will not color grey hair. You must use a red henna first and then apply the black henna.But on the whole, a good product!
