They don't smell when they are dry.

They are not as translucent when rewetted. This means they are using more regular flour, maybe tapioca or wheat but regardless less Konjac. There is a reason the original noodles were packaged in water. It has to be this way. Don't you think they would have wanted to save on packaging weight and keep the price lower and more affordable for people so their new product would be successful? Of course. Dry noodles is just a gimmick AND gives manu. food corp a place to substitute and cheat with cheaper ingredients. I'm staying with water version.
