They were in perfect health and the root systems are dense. They are small which made them very easier to plant quickly. Getting 100 plants in the ground in a reasonable amount of time is not an easy task in itself. They are here a bit early in the season for my zone (6) but we're having great weather and my area is well protected. I don't mind getting them in early. Considering a mere month ago we had a foot of snow on the ground still and temps were near 0Β°F at night. I underestimated my area so I ordered another bunch to fill in and complete the bed. The rest I will use in another area. Overall I'm happy with my order.
