Tooth Polish Royal 135g toothpaste, Direct from Japan

having bought the actual toothpaste from japan in person, this is the genuine product when i compared it to my old tube. i got really into nano-hydroxyapitate toothpastes when i had a perioral dermatitis flare. i had read somewhere that fluoride irritates PD, which apparently, is not true - it's the SLS, which this does have! but i have never had a PD flare while using it. nano-mHAP essentially works the same way as fluoride by helping remineralize your teeth. sangi has been using it in toothpastes since FOREVER and this one, specifically, is probably the highest % you can get anywhere on the market. they do have other, less expensive lines with less % nano-mHAP; Serena (discoloration), Smokin' (stains), Premio (has the second highest % of nano-mHAP), and M-Plus (standard care). there does also exist an Apagard Renamel, which is very strong, but also hard to get. i do still use fluoride toothpaste in the morning just to cover my bases (and because this is expensive) but i will say that my front teeth are a LOT less transparent and my whole mouth is less sensitive. i went into the dentist for the first time last month with no new cavities, which has almost never happened since puberty. i personally enjoy the taste & texture, it feels very luxe if that makes sense. i mean it better, for $40. they do make a smaller tube for $20, and the other lines they make are cheaper. the foam is a little thick, which is neither good nor bad lol.

I think it is working. I have tried the Premium version before this and saw little difference, so I finally took the plunge and order the Royal version. I have only been using this toothpaste for 6 days, but my two front teeth look less transparent and my teeth are super shiny. It is a bit odd to see my teeth less transparent (they have been like that for almost two decades). The real test will be if it helps some of the fine cracks I have after removing my braces. Time will tell. I choose 4/5 stars for now, as I want to use it for longer before deciding on the final verdict. I do have high hopes for this one.

I know the price is intimidating but this toothpaste has healed my friends tooth pain, healed my husbands gum issues, and I recommend to everyone to buy it. I have done lots of research on different products and, can you get a similar toothpaste cheaper from somewhere else? Yes- but the active key ingredients you’re buying this toothpaste for won’t be as high. There’s even some that claim to be higher than they are, sell for cheaper (but still expensive) and then you’re basically not going to get the active ingredients at a high enough percentage to actually do what you’re buying it to do. Just bite the bullet and purchase this one. Use it in the recommended, small sized amounts, make it stretch ( it lasts me about 6-8 months) and it is worth it.

I was really hopeful about this but I have seen no difference in terms of filling up white spot lesions, and reducing tooth sensitivity. I first used the apagard Premio version which helped a bit with the sensitivity, but the upgrade has not worked for me. After one tube of each of the products, I won't be buying this again. Taste/feel is normal Definitely not value for money.
