Good.
We bought this knowing our dog would need it soon but he passed before we used it. Looks to be good quality. It would have supported the back end of my 100 pound German shepherd without difficulty.

Easy to use
I have an older, arthritic pitbull and she's more than half my weight. This enables me to help her walk up the steps to our bedroom at night. I was afraid that the handles might be too long for me to use because I'm only 5'3" tall. However, I can use this easily, as can my 6'-tall husband. It seems to be comfortable for my dog too, as she now waits at the bottom of the steps, wagging her tail and barking, for a lift. I still have difficulty assisting her going down the steps, though. When I tried to use this while she's going down, she would topple over forward. It won't quite stay on her short, barrel-chest when going down; it slips down under her tummy to where I'm only supporting her hind legs. Also, the problem may just be with her: as soon as I place this under her and start down the steps, she wants to climb down faster than me. So as she moves downward a step ahead of me, it then slips. Overall, this is helpful in assisting her up the stairs and supporting her hind legs and lower spinal area.

This was a LIFESAVER for us
Our 13-year old dog (shepherd/lab, 90 lbs ) was suffering from weakness in her back legs (arthritis, some slight displasia), we thought. We purchased steps to get her into the car, but she stopped using them (refusing). At this point, she was 100 lbs, we couldn't pick her up to get her into the car, so her car rides (which she loved), became a thing of the past). She became ill with an extremely bad UTI/kidney infection (a couple of months after having her spleen removed ... not related), so bad she spent four days in the hospital at a specialized care hospital (1.5 hours away). She couldn't get into the car, she couldn't get up off the floor, we put rugs over all of our wood floors so she wouldn't slip and fall (even if it was only 2 feet). I purchased this in desparation, in the hopes we it could help, and it was a lifesaver, for all of us. We were able to lift her into the back end of our SUV for follow-up visits (she could no longer "sit" in the back seat). When she visited our vet, we used it to help her stand up after laying down on the tile floor. Best news, we don't need it anymore. She is back to how she was three years ago, before all of this started. She uses the steps into the back seat of our SUV, she can get up from the floor, even from tile. However, she is 13, and still a big dog (87 lbs). This will be here, just in case needed down the road. There is NO way I would get rid of this. The arthritis/displasia will not disappear). This saved us so much stress, being able to lift our fur baby into the car to get the critical care she needed. As a result (and I can't emphasize enough how much this helped) we are able to continue enjoying this amazing dog. If you have a fur baby who is having similar issues (weakness, inability to get up without help), this is SO for you.

Well made
I expected something cheap but servicible. However, this sling was nice and wide, thick plush for comfort for my 12 year old 90 lb Akita Boxer mix. Reccommend for simple stair assist. A full rig may be needed for other applications like vehicle entry.

DOG LOVES IT!
This strap has worked fantastic for us! Our girl is 12 and a half and has DM and arthritis. Needless to say, her hind end is very wobbly and she can't feel her right foot so we have to help her up steps going outside and back in from doing her business. We had another strap that had velcro to attach it in front as well and did not like it. velcro sticks to everything but what you want it to. I tried using my elastic excersise band but that was so thin I think it cut into her belly. this is soft and wide!
