Not sure. In Levi's I wear a 33wx30inseam. I bought a medium in this Nike model and it fits perfectly. Think you might need an XL. But that's just guess. Just be sure you buy it from some that will accept a return. Zappos is real great with clothing returns although I don't know if they have this model. Good luck! Steve

Q: are these tapered at all on the bottoms? no elastic on the ankle?

They're open hem so no elastic and they're only tapered slightly. Both my son's love them. 5'9, 130/ 140 ish lbs wears a medium and 6'3, 169 lbs wears a Tall Medium but would prefer a Tall large; He's a bit too thin for them.

Thinner fabric.

At the same time I ordered the black colored sweatpants from another seller and the fabric was much more thicker. Is this seller selling fake Nike sweatpants? I was leaving for vacation at that time and missed the return deadline. So disapointing.
