The strands are very thin but not fragile, I've stepped on them and yanked them without damage. They do cover the needed 2.5' opening so you can't see through if the other side is not brightly lit. The strands are longer than 8' and pool up on the floor; they could be cut shorter without harm. I found that to walk through without getting strands caught in hair or clothing I had to sweep them aside with an arm as I went through. Cutting the curtain to length might help that. I ended up tying the curtain to one side for convenience most of the time. Basically I am happy with them and like how they look, and they serve the purpose. Especially for the low price. Much better than I expected for that price.

**Q: How do I hang it? It looks like it requires I purchase a separate rod.  Is this correct as it does not specify any where.  Thank you**
A: Mine was actually going in place of a door and I did not want to put holes in my wall or trim to hang a rod.  So I purchased a smaller tension rod (17 to 30 inches) and it fit perfectly inside the trim and is holding two of them - I wanted a thicker look.  I got my tension rod at Bed Bath and Beyond for 9.99 and it worked great.

**Q: Will this fit a 33" space?  Can the fringe be cut to fit for shorter spaces?**
A: I'm not sure what a 33' space is like, maybe the seller can answer that, but the fringe can definitely be cut. That curtains super long and even though I hung it from my 'ceiling' it was still too long. The measurements are listed I'm sure you can check them out to see if it'll fit your space. Hope that helps!

**Q: I only got 1 in my package, not 2...?!**
A: Should of been 2.at least when I ordered I ordered 2sets because I thought package only came with 1 and I ended up with 4 curtains . Hope this helps

**Q: is the 110" the same as 3 sets of standard curtains? And will it pretty much cover a standard closet door so you can not see through it too much?**
A: not the same as standard curtains and yes they will cover a regular closet door plus some. yes you can see through them.
