Review: can't get enough of her doodling books! - I think her books are indicated for kids and teens, but as a middle-aged person, these give me a lot of joy! They are cute, accessible, and help to get your creativity flowing. I actually have 3 of the 4 in Emma's series! Review: Five Stars - The illustrations are adorable, very fun book.

This Doodling for Foodies is Adorable and Sharp
This Doodling for Foodies is adorable, sharp, and funny, all rolled into one! It's perfect for a food lover. It's broken into thoughtful sections, but you never do know what you're going to get. I absolutely love that they added jelly beans to the โpulses, beans, and legumesโ section and the humor from the โdangerous seafoodโ made me laugh out loud. The interactivity of the doodling sections are especially unique, my favorites were decorating a cake and drawing cupcakes (you can see where my obsession is). The facts nestled in this book were well thought out, too, like the well-stocked foodie kitchen and the fancy foodie phrases. This book is really fun and imaginative, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes food, interesting trivia, and doodling in general.

Not what I expected, but still happy with it
Less of a doodle book, more of a fun fact and colouring book - there are some spaces to add your own drawings but most of the pages are filled with Gemma's artwork - which, let's be fair, is far better than anything I could draw anyway! It wasn't what I expected, but I still found it interesting, fun and I'm sure it'll be fun colouring in all the pictures!

Cute and informative!
This is a fun doodling and activity book that I think any food lover would enjoy โ I sure do! The illustrations are cute, simple, and aside from doodling prompts, there are also pages with illustrations with examples of different types of foods โ lettuces, cheeses, fruits, and breads, to name a few. These lists are actually really informative, too, like the spreads of herbs & spices, dim sum, and pasta shapes. I love the various foodie facts included, too, like that strawberries, raspberries and blackberries arenโt really berries, but tomatoes, pumpkins, watermelons, and avocados technically are. Fun book!

Fun and Educational!
The book includes not only fun doodling prompts but also quizzes, how-to-draw instructions and cute jokes. It is really friendly with cute illustrations and is not intimidating to those who might not usually draw and would be hesitant to just start drawing right away. It was a bit scary to draw right on the pages when I first got it, but as I started drawing and coloring in it, the book started feeling more and more like my own book. Great activity to do with your friends, kids and family!

Fun activities and information too
What a fun book! It's actually quite a bit more than just doodling--lots of interesting information about foods. My grandson loves to draw and used to be a very picky eater. He is now starting to try to eat everything (teenager!!) so I am going to give this book to him for Christmas. I am thinking about getting another copy for myself as it would be a fun diversion on a long plane flight instead of sudoku!
