I used a 1/2" deep socket attached to my cordless impact tool. I did not over tighten. Last tightening was done with hand wrench to get a proper feel. Review: Holds now - I had a hanging hose reel that kept falling off the wall until I used these proper anchors. I have not had any issues with the hose even when filled completely with water. Used 1/2 drill bit.
