Well worth it
It seemed like a expensive purchase but it was well worth it to ensure my heads on my truck were straight. I had to replace both head gaskets and glad I got this tool

Damn straight
This is a good, American made straight edge. Works well, was just what I needed to check my 6 cylinder jag engine block and head. The price was good for a precision product

This straightedge is a piece of barstock with a ground edge
Straightedge? Yes. Measurement demarcation? No. If you want to ensure something is flat, yes, this will help. One dimensional. I bought a 38” aluminum straightedge/ruler for a third of the cost of this item and it has the same specs…A piece of cold-rolled barstock would be just as useful. Save your money.

Good product if wasn't damaged.
Good actuate product but came damaged on machined end with no visible box damage, but I needed tool right away so filed bad spot and used so can't return.
