How do you install it? There were no instructions.

There are no instructions and it doesn't even have all the screws, so you can't install it.The leg doesn't always sit straight vertical to the horizontal bar section.The rail wobbles left to right when it is in down position because the centre hinge bolt doesn't seem to be interlocked with the pull down bar!!I don't recommend it!!!

Is it easy to install this handrail?

No instructions. You have to install it tentatively at the risk of damaging the wall. It took me ages to fix it to the wall, however the legs twisted around when placed on the floor and could not be kept stable. Very poor product.
