My kitties absolutely love these treats! Plus I love the fact that they help keep their teeth clean. I had to have an older cats teeth cleaned and before they could clean his teeth they needed blood work and he also needed to be put to sleep. Very expensive ordeal. So it’s a win-win!

If you're looking for effective dental treats that are budget-friendly, these are it. I’ve bought them multiple times; the quality is consistently high and they're clearly delicious based on how fast my cats run for them.

I purchased the Purina DentaLife Cat Dental Treats after my ten year old cat Walter's last veterinary appointment where he received a pretty low grade regarding his dental health. Too have his teeth professionally cleaned was over $1000 and they would need to put him under and I avoid that at all costs. Another option was to put him back on dry food but he is prone to urinary tract infections so I was sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place. I decided to give these a try based on the reviews. He has been eating them daily for over a month now and there is a noticeable improvement. It took some time before he would even let me get near his mouth but I went slow putting my hands near his mouth a little more every day until be finally let me open his mouth enough to check. There is a lot less plaque built up on his teeth and his gums look a lot healthier too. His breath is a little bit better as well, but I am hoping it continues to improve. Right now I put about 10-15 pellets in his bowl with this canned food, which is seafood based so I purchased the Salmon flavored, each time I feed him - which is twice a day. At some point I might cut back the frequency and amount, but for now I am going to continue as is for another 3-4 weeks. So yeah, this stuff really did the trick for Walter. Not sure it will work for your cat - it is dependent on if they will even eat them, but for my cat it worked out well. Based on the results I can recommend the Purina DentaLife Cat Dental Treats without hesitation.

My cats are super picky and somehow they love these. I bought them mainly for the dental benefits, but now they come running as soon as they hear the bag. The salmon flavor is clearly a hit, even with my pickiest cat. I like that they help with dental health while still being something my cats actually want to eat. No issues with upset stomachs, and it feels good giving them a treat that’s doing more than just tasting good. Definitely repurchasing and recommending for picky cats!

Stars for the enjoyability by cats, I think they’re probably more effective than Greenie’s but I’m not sure.

Bag was MASSIVE. Great deal for the price! My cat enjoyed them. But they are a little large.

Kitty, my girl, absolutely loves these. Every night at the same time she sits in the same place and quietly waits for me to get the treats out. Since the treats are pretty much round, I fling them across the room and she chases them down, batting them along the way, and oh yeah, she's 11! That's a cat the loves her treats. A great value and a small price to pay for my girl's happiness. :)

These are great. One time I took the cat to the vet after use and they said her teeth were perfect. We took a break for a while from these and then the most recent vet said the cat would need to be sedated for a cleaning. Started giving more of these treats and a year later the vet says she doesn't need a cleaning. She is on a prescription diet now, though, so I'm not sure how much of these, if any at all, should be given to her.
