Greens Plus Protein Bar Peanut Butter and Chocolate - 12 Bars

I would highly recommend this product. Although it is a bit pricy for a protein bar, it is a very pure product with excellent ingredients. It is very sustaining. At times I can only eat half of a bar because I am full. Other times it is my breakfast or when traveling it is a great snack when I have to wait to find something healthy to eat. The Peanut Butter & Chocolate is my preferred flavor. I'm not fond of the other flavors offered by this same maker. Additionally, this particular bar has the highest content of protein (which is what I wanted) as opposed to the other bars made by Greens Plus!

Bars sold one year out-of-dateI have relied on PlusBars for many years as my go-to energy bar. I have enjoyed their high quality ingredients in a portable package. This last purchase was made for a week-long trip to Europe. When I opened the bars, the chocolate on the bars had turned pale brown and crumbled when touched; the inside of the bar was hard and unpalatable. On closer inspection, the box of bars was a full year out-of-date (June 6, 2016). Since I was out-of-country, I simply threw the bars I had brought away.

Anyone who had been eating these since about '07 would remember them being softer with a better chocolate coating. They were so good I wonder if they were too good (perhaps with sneaking in candy bar like ingredients). Still, the newer ones are good and have hints of their old glory days.

I have consumed these bars for years and love them. They are rich and delicious, tasting of both real chocolate and peanut butter. Recently they became even moister, softer. Didn't think they could get better but they did, and with a wonderful punch of protein.

These are my favorite bars of all time. I have purchased them at Trader Joe's for years. When they were discontinued, I decided to order then online. They are pretty pricey and I was expecting them to taste like the bars that Trader Joe's sold. Well, they are just hard and stale. The chocolate chips off as I'm eating the bar. I'm wondering if the company is going out of business and selling off their old stock??

These are the best "green" food protein bars that I have tried. Don't confuse them with something that is more akin to a candy bar, because if you do you will be dissapointed. But if you are looking for a green superfood protein bar, its a great buy.

I have ordered protein bars from this company many times before and this is the first time I had any trouble. I typically order between 4 and 5 boxes every few months. This time, I got a shipment of 4 boxes and they were dated with only 1 month expiration. I did not realize this until I opened one and tasted it and it was terrible! I contacted AllStar Health and they courteously offered to replace them once I sent them back with a prepaid shipping label. I was satisfied with this but to my amaze they sent me the exact same boxes back again! I was out of protein bars at this point despite giving myself almost a month in advance to order them. They once again sent me new bars. I asked for some compensation and all I got was free shipping on my next order ($5.95 value on a $100 order...).I have used other vendors in the past as well with no problems...I will think twice about ordering from this place. I like to think this was a fluke - but be ware!

these are my favorite bars. i eat one almost every day. my grandchildren like when i bring a box with me when i visit. allhealth has the best price.and delivers quickly. they also email to remind you that you are getting low and should reorder.
