After trying almost every swaddle on the market, the Halo is our go to! We have used with three kids and it works well as a swaddle and a sleep sack once they no longer need arms wrapped. We love how easy it is to put on and take off, it’s not confusing like some of the other swaddles on the market. Definitely recommend!

My baby loved this. We never swaddled her with her hands down because she loved to have hands-free, but this was a great option to make her feel a little warm and more comfortable without trapping her hands.

At first I was very pleased with this sleep sack swaddle, but over time I have been disappointed by the quickly worn appearance of the material. Pros: This sleep sack is made of a lightweight breathable cotton. I love the dual zipper design allowing you to unzip from the top or bottom. Being able to unzip from the bottom for late night diaper changes is a game changer! The zebra print is very cute and a great gender neutral pattern. The sleep sack element allows my baby to have some leg freedom and help with movement to pass gas. I love the full coverage of the halo wings. They are much larger than other swaddles and hold the chest and abdomen of my baby nice and snug. The Velcro wings are easy to wrap around the baby which again is nice for late night diaper changes. The halo wings have 2 full-length Velcro strips that are very strong and hold the material securely! The lightweight cotton has a stretchiness to it that allows the material to be wrapped around the baby for a nice snug swaddle. Overall, a great design and perfect swaddle for babies 0-6 months. Cons: The cotton material has not held up well after several washings and wearings. We have used the swaddle regularly for one month now and the material just looks worn and well loved already. There are little pills from the fabric rubbing and wearing all over the swaddle’s material. The material on the halo wings is almost too lightweight to support the heavy duty Velcro. The edges of the cotton wing surrounding the Velcro strips continually rolls down and gets stuck to the Velcro resulting in the stitching on the edges pulling and fraying. It has yet to affect the functionality of the swaddle, but causes the material to look very worn and used. Overtime it may pull the stitching too much and cause structural damage to the edges of the halo wings. I am very pleased with the swaddle as a whole, but am disappointed in the cotton material pilling and getting stuck to the Velcro strips.

I want to explain why this is the best of its kind BUT NOT what I would personally use next time... I know this is long (it is the longest review I ever wrote only because I deeply care). When I was an arm to side swaddler I loved HALO, this was definitely my top pick, it is very easy to put on, super easy to change a diaper and almost impossible to get out of. The fabric is soft and easy to care of. As for any swaddler you want to make sure child has enough space to move, fold, straighten his legs freely, with HALO he definitely does. The velcro is very long making it easy to control size and tightness, and it's not loud if you would like to keep a sleeping child asleep lol Another great feature is the transition part of it... you can swaddle only one arm or no arms at all, do it one night one arm at first to get your child use to not being swaddled. So for all those reasons and more HALO is the best if you want to swaddle your child with his arms to the side, BUT I would be very careful if you choose this option, since if a child rolls over it can bad very badly (read one of the bad reviews here, this is a very sad story which I wish never happened, God rest that little boys soul). I know you might think that it would never happen to you, but why take the chance when there is something better and safer out there? Again, this is only my opinion and I am almost sure HALO is safe for the first couple of months when a neborn can't roll over to his stomach, I would probably keep using HALO until first signs of rolling over if I didn't know better. Everything changed when I found Love To Dream, it took me a while to decide I wanna try it since it just looked weird, but all the great reviews and the fact the baby can be on his stomach convinced me. Tried it, both baby and I loved it, baby rolled over a few times with it and was able to hold her head high and cry for hating to be on the stomach... anyway that's what it would use next time from the beginning, does the job of keeping baby secure and giving me the ease of knowing baby is safe.

Bought these for my grand daughter's 1st baby. She absolutely loves them. Makes for more restful sleep for the baby.

This is a great swaddle. Easy to use and no complicated folds. 100% cotton so it is breathable and not too hot but keeps baby warm and secure feeling. I think every grandparent or parent who wants to be able swaddle quickly and securely should purchase one.

The band was too big compared to other Halo 3-6 month swaddles. Could barely get it to Velcro because it was so big. Soft, stretchy, and great quality.
