## Description

The rowenta zd100 soleplate cleaning kit contains a specially formulated cream that cleans soleplates by removing the draggy coating caused by excess starch, detergent build up and burned on synthetics. It is also ideal at removing melted webs, fusibles, iron on interfacings and trims. The cleaning kit is appropriate on all types of soleplates. Kit contains: 1-ounce tube of soleplate cleaner; application cloth; polishing /finishing cloth and set of instructions.

Review: Works! - This cleaned my iron’s sole plate when nothing else did. I had built up gunk on my iron that left a stain on a customers slacks, as I am a professional seamstress/tailor. I tried all the home remedies but they only worked to a certain point. There was still residue on the iron. This got rid of it and my iron looks and works like new again. It did take a few applications. Well worth the money.
Review: My iron is clean again! - I don't remember what I melted on my iron, but I could not get it off until I bought this product. Read all the instructions and started. The cloths are nice and large and the tube of cleaner will probably last for 4-6 cleanings, at least. The first use did remove some (see the cloth), but I needed to do it again. Not in the instructions, but I ended up folding the cloth over several times so I could lift the iron up and scrub it directly. That is probably why it scrubbed off some of the finish. But I don't care because it's nearly 100% clean. Oh, and make sure not to do the steam part of the instructions over your cutting mat. Derp! I wasn't even thinking, so now a case if Monster is going to fix that boo-boo.

**Q: Not working like it should for me. Any other suggestions?**
A: Make sure your iron is warm- no steam. Rub the paste over the faceplate and then "iron" over the cloth. Works loke a charm for me. Hope this helps.

**Q: How long does cleaner Last? Anyone use a homemade paste with baking soda instead?**
A: Lasts until your iron gets scorched or sticky again🤔I don’t think I’d use baking soda because it’s abrasive

**Q: My iron smells like burning sugar will this take care of the problem**
A: I purchased this for the purpose of removing scum on the bottom of the iron. I don’t think it’ll remove the smell. But this works great!

**Q: Can this be used on a rotary ironer plate?**
A: I am not familiar with an rotary ironer plate so I am not sure.  I can tell u it worked very well on my regular iron.
