The ends are stiff to easily thread the floss between teeth or braces/bridge work. Once you use it you can see and feel the difference compared ton regular floss

This floss is very thick compared to regular floss, making it a little different to use. My hygienist suggested soaking in mouthwash or water to help glide between teeth. Alway loved this floss. Works great under and around dental bridges. New packaging is not so good. Liked the old box, not this new resealable bag.
