Very lovely & stylish watch, also very light weight because of titanium component, it's very comfortable & functional watch.I really love it 😍.

Overall, the construction of the Manaslu PRX-8000YT is rock solid. The titanium elements of the bracelet & case reduce weight, but it is a large & hefty watch. The bracelet is well made & the ion-plated coating gives off a rich, almost coppery sheen at certain angles in the light, but the clasp is rather flimsy & lacks microadjustment. There is a quick adjustment mechanism that provides a tiny bit of expansion, but it is far from adequate by itself. The bracelet needs a couple of half-links as well as microadjustment, in order to dial in the fit.The watch hands & hour markers are large, highly visible & lumed. The lume is initially bright & strong, but quickly fades. In an expedition-rated watch, the lume should be longer-lasting. In addition, the inverted (negative) LCD display is only easy to see in daylight & not visible at all in darkness unless you press the illumination button manually or activate the automatic illumination, in which case the LED will light up whenever you tilt the watch toward you. But the auto-light setting will drain the battery, so it should only be turned on as needed at night. It's VERY disappointing that the LCD display doesn't have its own backlight. The LCD display should be standard dark lettering on a brighter background, with its own backlight.Lastly, there's the size. The diameter of the bezel is about 47mm and the case is 52mm including the crown, with a lug-to-lug length of 60mm. This is an absurdly oversized watch. I included comparison photos of a Seiko King Samurai & the much more wearable Pro Trek PRW-61FC, both of which are on the larger size. The PRX-8000 is considerably bigger on the wrist. The supersized case & dial is excessive & too large for most wrists or for daily wear. But it is comfortable & relatively lightweight on the wrist thanks to the titanium construction.It's a well-made & sturdy watch that ought to last a lifetime, but its shortcomings make me question the value proposition. The PRW-61FC is made of composite materials & lacks the high-viz dial of the Manaslu PRX-8000, but it is much more wearable & provides all the same features. If only Casio would address the faults of this watch, it would be truly great.

What customers may not realize from Amazon's ad, is that, even compared to most dive watches, this watch is huge. But that enables the use of clear, prominent hands and hour markers that almost pop out at you. With just a brief exposure to bright light, the time can be read all night. Charging requires only 1/2 day, per month, in bright sunlight ... Longer when cloudy or in artificial light. The digital month and day display is far more legible than on most analog watches. Once synced to the nearest atomic clock, the Protrek Manaslu is 100% accurate. The black-coated, titanium case and bracelet make this watch lightweight for its size. The large, anti-reflective, non-scratch crystal is synthetic sapphire. In addition to time, the watch has the outdoor oriented functions of barometer, thermometer, compass and others. This model is unique for a Casio with it's clean face and muted Casio logo. I'm very happy with mine.

No other watch like it. This watch looks great in whatever setting you want to put it. With the black titanium band it is rugged, light but always ready for formal wear too. The crystal is scratch proof! It is non reflective, you never have to calibrate it as it sets itself automatically every night. Never need to change the battery. It is solar powered. When is Apple going to figure this out? There isn’t enough room to tell you all the amazing things this watch can do. If you buy a Rolex it is because you are an egotist. If you buy this watch you are telling people you are smart, adventurous and exciting!

I have this watch, and it's absolutely amazing! Don't pay attention to the other guy who can't do a simple Google search. He doesn't have the watch, and has no right to "rate" it.

HOW about putting more description of the watch?

丘サーファーならぬ、街クライマーなので機能はオーバースペック。気圧トレンドと夜間の視認はタウンユースでも重宝するし、持っているワクワク感だけで満足。バンドのコマの一つ一つが大きいので、きめ細かいフィットを追求するのは難しいかも。

5年使用の感想…個体差なのか、緩めた竜頭を締める際一回で閉まらない事がある（途中で何かに引っかかる感じ）最近はバッテリーあるのに秒針が５０秒辺りで停止（竜頭を緩めると秒針は動き出すが暫くすると同じ所で止まる）修理に出すより他のメーカーの腕時計への変更検討中…デザインはいいので☆３かな？

機能的には問題はありませんでしたが、やはり重たさを感じます。

値段が高いのがいい！安いのとどこが違うのか、わからないところがいい！

プロトレックの上級モデルになりますがとてもシックで上品さとあり着けるシーンを選ばないので私はとても気に入っています
