The book had humour which I liked. He talks about the 8 pathway to disease which was a new concept for me. He explains the importance of insulin and not only to focus on glucose. I liked that he lists and explains labs tests for your doctor to order. I used that to talk to my doctor. He explains why you should eat real food and discusses the food industry and the negative impact that it has had on our health. He does not advocate for any diet, but gives you pointers to find your diet that is best for you.
