Although this is a quality item. This is a superb honey that comes from a highly reputable company. Only buy from New Zealand- Australia Do your research when buying Manuka honey-understand what those numbers mean- I use this specifically for health, upper respiratory, colds … you want the much higher numbers for wound care - I found the very same item at Costco with a higher UMF and MGO for $15 same company same quality. I didn’t realize that Costco carries this and of course just because it makes sense. I will most likely buy it from Costco and not from Amazon.

Ok, I live in Texas, and it seems like every one has allergies here, mostly cedar I guess because there is a ton of cedar trees here. Anyway, Some years ago I got a winter cold, not bad, but it just didn’t go away, even months later I was still having sinus drainage in the mornings. I went to the doctor, and he prescribed a course of steroids for a week. I took them, and they did help, for a week, and maybe two weeks, then the congestion came back just like it had never left. I was searching the web for some kind of home remedies, and I ran across this Manuka honey. It is a bit pricey, around $40 for a jar, but after having to deal with this issue for so long, i decided to give it a try. After receiving the honey, I was concerned that it wouldn’t taste good, but that was unfounded. It tastes fine, sweet as you expect honey to be. I started putting about a table spoon in things that I ate in the morning, like a bowl of cereal, or oatmeal, or on toast. I have to say, that it has helped me. I have gone through about half the jar, sharing it with my wife. It is honey after all. After a few weeks, my sinus issues have slacked off in a major way. I still have a bit of congestion in the morning, but the disgusting drainage has gone away. It might sound like a miracle, and to me it is. I will be keeping this stuff around. Recommended!

I have been using Manuka honey off and on for years to treat several health issues. Lately I have been faced with some of the toughest health issues of my life and I have tried so many things to help me. This product worked within a couple hours to significantly reduce symptoms from very bad ulcers in my throat and stomach. I am on medication that does not even touch the results that I received from about 2 teaspoons of Manuka honey. Everyday this will be part of my daily routine. I can even feel the inflammation reduced in my throat. I have been in very bad pain pretty much constantly for over a month and this is the first time I am feeling significantly better with hope that I will heal quickly as long as I continue to use this. I am also using a great aloe product and that has brought some relief as well, though not as dramatic as this Manuka honey product. I also just started using the Manuka honey and aloe on my skin to treat some acne and so far so good. There was some slight burning at first, but now my skin feels really great and I feel confident that it is going to work its magic as it soaks in beneath the surface. When mixing the honey with aloe, it becomes a more feasible face mask to wear while sleeping or throughout the day, which is not noticeable and not sticky. I put the manuka honey on my acne first and let it sit for about an hour and then I rubbed the pure aloe over and once it dried I felt the tingling subside and my skin feel smooth to the touch, though the manuka honey has not been removed.
