Success
Bought to try a cake yarn and I love it. Easy to crochet with, not rough at all, grows fast, nice stitch definition and lovely colour. Will buy more!

Expensive, but worth it for THAT project.
Amazing yarn to work with, its making a lovely blanket for my family/living room. I've come back to order more because its so nice to work with. The colours are amazing, but kind of remind me of the American Cereal froot loops, haha. It's great texture for doing the waffle stitch I've picked, its solid yarn with no fluffy bits sticking out. Texture is a bit like thick cotton. Its expensive, but great for a one off important project.

Lovely soft yarn
Loved this yarn, made a top with it and it was great, the yarn is soft and looks great, the colour was bright and beautiful. Really easy to knit with which is always a pleasure, strong and durable

Good quality, but wouldn't call it ombre
Nice and soft, not too chunky and really easy to work with for a relative beginner to crochet. Really vibrant, bright colours so will be interested to see how well it washes once finished. Was expecting the colours to be more of a blend considering the yarn is called Ombré, I find the changes to be quite abrupt. Also not ideal to find 2 random colours just tied together halfway through, no blend at all

Super soft
Great yarn lovely and soft i made a hexi cardi using 6 skeins and 5mm hook had some left over. Colour was felicity but when it arrived I thought id been sent the wrong shade it's more browny colour than pinky but you can see the pink when made up. I'm more than happy with the finished product.

Colourful yarn
This wool is soft and the colours are very prominent. This is currently being used to crochet a blanket, feeling as if it's good quality and will last. It is very easy to crochet with and cannot wait to see the final product.

Beautiful, easy to use yarn
Beautiful yarn. So easy to work with. Silky squishy soft. As a novice, it seemed very similar to a DK thickness to me (see pic), so I used a 4mm hook, rather than the 6mm shown on the packet, worked up beautifully. It is denser though, as a 5 round standard granny square weighed 12g rather than 8g DK. Also, after using 2 cakes, I didn't have any knots or frayed yarn. The colours are blue/green, no purple hues as shown on the colour swatch.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
From a crocheter’s point of view, when it comes to Lion Brand Yarn, hands down, a huge Fan! The Mandala Ombré collection tops it as far as favorites go! I use both the Mandala Ombré Happy and the Mandala Ombré Tranquil the most! They are soooooo absolutely beautiful! If you are making scarves, hats, mittens, and baby blankets, HANDS DOWN the best! It’s VERY lightweight, and the thickness is perfect! However, if you are making an Afghan, the looks are on point, but as far as warmth goes, it wouldn’t be very warm. Perfect for breathable baby blankets, scarves and mittens though! I haven’t tried it in an actual washer, but it holds up well with dry cleaning! I don’t usually buy just one skein either. As I use this brand OFTEN, I have very rarely came into issues with knots within the skein. If you knit/crochet, you know first hand how knots within a skein can be SO frustrating. However, I have came across very few out of dozens of skeins with knots in the skeins. It’s very easy to work with too! I use a 3.5mm crochet hook and it’s perfect! I buy a lot of these about every few months because my baby blankets are a hit! So if you want vibrant colors, soft and lightweight for a great price, hands down mandala ombré is my top pick!
