Such a well-made brush! Good at removing loose, shedding fur and it seems to provide a comfortable experience for the cats. This size would probably be good for smallish dogs as well. Easy to remove hair from the brush after use. I've had a few of these brushes for my cats for years, and all are still in good shape despite regular use. Just ordered another to keep in the bedroom so I don't have to run around the house looking for a brush when I need one. Tiny tips on brush bristles keep them from being sharp, but the tips are small enough that the brush still works well. No problem with the tips coming off. I appreciate that this brush is made in Taiwan (not in China).

My Zoey likes this new tiny slicker. She’s 10 pounds and this is perfect for her soft fine hair. It is ball tipped which is what I wanted, so gentle to her skin. The tips are so tiny you almost can’t see them. But they are there. This little brush which is about 2” in diameter is well made and comfortable in my hand. Easy to clean.

I like the soft tips on the bristles.

My German Shepherd doesn’t seem to mind this brush nearly as much as others due to it not scratching his skin if I accidentally hit an area without as much fur. I can brush him for a couple hours while watching TV. Does a really great job with the undercoat. Doesn’t seem like it will last long because the bristles are very thin and bend with use, but it works so well.

This brush is great for everyday grooming. I use it on my 3lb Biewer terrier and it gets the job done. I especially like that it has the extra coating at the tips so that it doesn’t irritate my dogs skin. Most dematting brushes only has the steel tips and I feel like it would scratch their skin and hurt them. This brush is soft and does a great job at holding in the hair so that once you’re done, you can easily remove with your hands. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.

I bought this because I got a long haired puppy, which it works great for. It gets out tangles and cuts down on shedding significantly. I was surprised because I have a dog with sensory processing disorder who is very particular with what touches his body, he LOVES this brush. He wont even wear a collar but when I pull this brush out to brush the long haired dog he begs to be brushed too even though his coat does not need to be brushed. Its very gentle and works very well. Ours did not come with plastic balls on the tips and our dogs love it. I have an older dog with scars on her body and she will even tolerate me brushing over her scars with this brush, she wont even let some people PET her scars much less brush them. Definitely worth a try, we are three for three of dogs who LOVE this brush and get excited when I bring it out.

Love these Safar brushes and comb to maintain my toy golden doodle's curl coat and to gently remove any matts that are starting to form. My groomer recommended gently combing first, then brushing with the hair and then against. She looks and feels wonderful!

Helps get "knots" out of my puppy's fir... really good

I have small dogs and this brush is very handy. I like the coated tips at the end of the bristles. It makes brushing more comfortable for the dog. I highly recommend this for a number of breeds of dogs.

My dog’s groomer recommended this as my tiny cocker type dog was prone to ear matting - I brush her ears every night with this tool and she seems to find the process comfortable enough (tends to fall asleep) and her ears become beautifully smooth and silky.
